dealing with crosswind: play the ball moving left to right (cut) or right to left (draw) just a little depending on the wind direction. this helps slow the ball down and the wind and lessens the effect of the wind. you want to move the ball into the wind in order to slow the ball. this also helps with the ball flight with misses slow or fast

Dude, love your videos! Top tip, use spin on your approach irons. (When you adjust the loft etc move the right hand meter down, itll spin like crap!) After pressing L1 use the right analog stick.

One other tip I find helpful is always use full shots rather that pitch's. The swing meter speed is different and will f you up by leaving it short.

YO Mighty Goat, put your hit percentage for all your clubs at 100%. If you choose your 8 Iron club you can adjust your distance by using your LEFT Analog stick ⛳

The wind is usually 10 yards for 10mph of direction so if the wind is behind you, play 10 yards less club. If the wind is coming toward you, play 10 yards more club. If that doesn’t work then your guess is as good as mine. This is what I always use in every golf game. It’s worked for me since 1999 until 2021. From Tiger PGA Tour to World Golf Tour.

for wind assume drive velocity (mph) is equal to drive distance (yards) divided by two. then what you can do is assume wind (mph) times two is equal to added drive distance (yards) for example: 300 yard drive + 15 mph wind should be about 330 yards

Mighty, you adjusted for wind decently but you also have to plan for the ball to roll out. I usually estimate about 5 yards of roll out. I try to aim to where the ball (with the wind) will land 5-8 yards short of the pin and roll out.

Also, Mighty, the wind will affect higher shors more. So, any time that you add loft to a shot or use basically a high lofted club (7i-9i) it's going to move with the wind more. At least when off the fairway. Anything teed up is going to get affected by the wind more because it's going to go higher in the air.

try adjusting your distance in the wind by1 yard per mph,your clubs are based on carry then you have to add roll for your final distance,each club is different on roll,practice on how much roll you get on long irons,your short irons are easier to figure out

I played in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003 back in the day and the wind was 30 mph, 13 mph is nothing. If you use the wind correctly you can win and hit the ball closer on approach shots.

The wind affects the ball differently depending on the loft of the club. I.E. a 5 iron is hit lower out of the wind where a pitching wedge is hit straight up so the wind kills it. Also curve the ball slightly into a cross wind to counter it.
