The Windsor Park Herd 3

The history of wild red deer in south eastern Queensland, Australia is quite amazing but something that has never been recognised used by Government. This Heritage herd of deer are still there, in the same rangeland they were introduced to but for how much longer? Follow their story by joining us for this series of videos.

Thanks for the education, I think i need to go to the bookstore and buy some books. I shot a 11 point stag in Grampians many years ago, wasnt symetric, but otherwise very healthy!😁

so feral deer have tags and heritage deer don't .some one needs to inform the government ,trying to take away these beautiful creatures from our dinner tables when they have such an important heritage and role to play in this country .our childrens children should have the opportunity to hunt these magnificent creatures ,,

cool information about the deer herds . how much would a tanned wild dog skin cost me to add to my collection of hides , or i would trade a coyote pelt for one .

If there going to remove deer from the environment then brumbys MUST be removed from the high country of NSW and Victoria as well, anything else is just hypocritical and a direct shot at hunters.
