Doris Day was such a fantastic dancer! I've long been a fan of hers but somehow never saw this film until recently. I can't get over how she jumps up and down on the bar and at 2:16 she stands up from a cross-legged sitting position with no assistance! That's strength and talent! :)

Watch the lift up into the upper balcony, and then when she is lowered back down again. On the way down, I cannot see any safety equipment and it even seems that her full weight is already across the railing before the two cowboys grasp her arms.
