i must say Katy, Luke & Lionel did a tremendous job this year gathering all of these super talented people. even those who didn't make it to the live show were wonderful. These judges wear their heart on their sleeves and we get to see them emotional while being the kindest person with sage advices. what an amazing group. These 3 judges are definitely the best of any reality singing competition there is!

The first time I heard Iam sing, I knew he would be the winner. His voice is so smooth and he is a great story teller. Also, the best performance was with James Blunt. I cried so much....such a touching song. Happy for you Iam...you deserve the title of American Idol 2023.

This was by far one of the best seasons ever. There were so many extremely talented singers that were more than worthy of winning, and they were all such a close knit group. You could tell they genuinely like one another and are friends. This wasn’t one person overshadowing and dominating everyone with ungodly vocal abilities and stage presence (we’re looking at you Adam Lambert) This group competed against one another but helped and supported each other.

As I’ve watched his videos on you tube of him singing with his Dad they harmonized so beautiful together. With the passing of his Dad I feel there voices have come together what beautiful masterpiece. Also when IAM and Oliver sing it’s absolutely beautiful they have really touched my heart. My beautiful Kylee passed away almost 5 years ago I struggle with the pain every day, when I listen to these guy’s sing it gives my heart a little comfort I hope they will sing more songs together I love the brotherly love they share. God bless you both I know they will go far with there music they have touched my life. I SO LOVE the amazing friendship brother/sisterly love between these two ... as well as what they have had with many of the top 12!!! Watching them joke around with each other has been enlightening. They both have such powerful stories as well involving loss and some heartaches. They are BOTH winners!!! Anyone who can put in all of the HARD WORK like they did and perform week after week after week, being away from home for as long as they had to be, the sweat and tears, prayers going up... all this while chasing their dreams... putting your faith in God and the talents and gifts HE has given you... allowing yourself to grow and glow, letting people pour out their love, compassion, and encouraging advice... respecting each other as contestants and being able to work with and perform with bands and other contestants... this is what this young woman and young man have done. They know who they are and what kind of artist they want to be!!! God, their family and friends, mentors, judges, and fans have all helped them along this American Idol journey. If THEY can do it, so can YOU. Special THANK YOU to TALENTKING for sharing whole performance throughout the competition with the contestants stories before and in between performances and the judges feedback and reactions. This year was special, the talent really seemed to like one another, friends. I don't ever remember seeing such caring between contestants before (wish they all could have won, but in all honesty I was pulling for Iam, his music touched me as it came from his soul)
