This girl could sing the telephone directory and make it sound like an emotional rollercoaster. As the 71 year-old father to two young daughters aged 22 and 20 - the youngest of whom introduced me to LM a few years ago - I identify with LM from the opposite end of the spectrum knowing I will in all probability also leave them when they are way too young. You either connect with Lizzy on a deep emotional level as I do or you don't. Saw her at the Lafayette a few years ago and the Hammersmith Apollo a couple of days ago. Love her to bits and wish I could give her a big hug and tell her everything will be alright.
