Am I missing something? The jets were not mentioned once in this video

For some context, this episode was uploaded by our network producers. I wasn't involved in the recording on this one.

@ yes, even so. Why is the title of this video “The Winnipeg Jets Are In Great Shape To Win The Central” if they’re not even mentioned once in the video. Very confusing and misleading.

I think it might be a bad idea to be shopping or buying at the trade deadline. It could spoil the team chemistry. This Jets squad has an identity and all the roster knows their role in the structure. To remove 1 piece for player who may not be a good fit, see Kevin Hayes, would spoil the soup so to speak. Plus, you lose a draft pick or worse, a player that helped get us where we are. Just my thoughts on the matter. What do you think?

We gotta stop worrying about messing up team chemistry. The goal is to win, not keep a country club. It's be one thing if this team was coming off Cup or a finals run. But this team has won one playoff series since 2018. A top 4 D-man and legit 2C are needed. And they've been consistent needs for years. Really, this team needs some players that are built for the playoffs. That's not Perfetti. That's not Appleton. That's not even Ehlers going by his lack of playoff production. And it's the playoffs, not the regular season that matters. And one thing that's been a constant is that this team does not do well when facing adversity. They've lost 10 straight playoff games following a loss They get down 2-0 or 3-0, the game is virtually over. They have scheduling issues or are missing a key piece, they don't respond. Teams like the Panthers, Hurricanes, Knights, Avs and Stars find ways to win when facing adversity. The team needs some players who are built for playoff hockey and can handle adversity. That's more important than not wanting to break up chemistry.

Yes, Kevin Hayes, Sean Monahan, Tyler Toffoli, great thinking. Trade the future for sweet fuck all.

I lean towards Pomerlain's thought here. The thing with Monahan and Toffoli is that they were relatively inexpensive. The first the Jets gave up wasn't a high-end one, and Toffoli was basically a bag of chips for his potential. I also thought neither was going to save Winnipeg, but they were both pretty good for the regular season. The Jets need to be more ambitious this season, and a big trade would be a reward for the team's performance too. If they can find this year's equivalent of a Stastny, that could make the post-season run insane.

@@andrewgreen815 Hayes, Monahan and Toffoli weren't players that moved the needle. They were inexpensive as all were on expiring deals. Jets need to acquire players that will actually be difference makers. And to do that means making a hockey trade that would include a roster player & prospect at the minimum. A move that shows this team is serious about winning a cup.

Did I miss something? The title mentions the Jets, but they didn't touch on them at all.
