The Winter Garden | Biltmore

🌿 The Winter Garden of Biltmore House is located on the first floor, and is one of the first stops on a self-guided tour of our Gilded Age mansion.
This room would have been near impossible to see into during George Vanderbilt’s time; he had plants lining the room that were so tall, they brushed the lights that hang from the ceiling!

They'll extract up to $100 per person for a one day visit. Is it worth it? Nah. Not even close.

It's definitely worth it to see some world class artwork, architecture, antiques and botanical gardens. You would have to visit Europe to see anything comparable.
