@@winterxmm No need to watch them. Neither of two books I mentioned is apocrypha... they are canonical books. Book of Enoch is neither in the canon nor in apocrypha. Since The Holy Eastern Orthodox Church produced Bible canon, what you are doing is in effect - trying to teach your own father how kids are conceived.

@@johnnyd2383 ?? I don't fully understand what you're trying to say but, I don't watch these videos at all. I'm trying to inform people about these books not being accepted into the Protestant Bible for a reason because it isn't very reliable and some of these books Apocrypha or not are considered to be psedudepigrapha. Then, these books may have some similarities compared to the Protestant Bible but there's also some inconsistencies in some of these books (I don't know about every single book because there is a lot to touch on) but because of the inconsistencies the extra books have are not in the Protestant Bible, because they are not inspired by God like scripture in the Protestant Bible. Hopefully you seen most of the videos and if you still don't believe me take it to God and he will reveal to you the truth. God bless❤

@@winterxmm Here are few lines from the historical point of view... 2000 years ago there were in existence Old Testament books and their translation into Greek language known as Septuagint. The Church took them and put them into a canon of Christian Bible. Then Jews reduced their canon for the main reason being the fact that some books too clearly were pointing to the Jesus Christ being a Messiah. Some didn't but they removed them in order to cover their tracks... 1000 years later, Martin Luther was compiling his own Bible canon and used Jewish reduced canon while The Church retained it's original canon based on Septuagint. Those books are still in Eastern Orthodox Church Bible canonical books while in Protestant Bible they aren't. Our Protestant brethren are ripped off of some books that are in The Church still in use. To the Protestant evangelizer in this comment, I hope that you do lead some people to Jesus Christ in spite of your gross ignorance of History. Insofar as you preach Jesus Christ crucified, dead, and Resurrected, you do preach the gospel. Insofar as you preach baptism as the means of entrance into the Christian Life, you do well. Insofar as you preach the gospel as the word of God, useful for instruction and teaching, I applaud you. But I do not even think you understand what it means to be a Protestant. Or an Evangelical. I'm sure you look up to Martin Luther. Yet how very little you know what he talked or believed. You would do well to see what confessional Lutheran churches believe to understand your own position as a Christian. Confessional Lutherans are vehemently Protestant. Martin Luther invented the five Solas you probably claim to believe. And the Canon of scripture you have came from Martin Luther. You ought to learn from him. And when you do, you will also realize that they do respect the Virgin Mary, all of the Saints. They believe in sacraments, not ordinances, which really convey Grace not by my actions but because God works through them. And faith alone means God gives you faith, not you declaring faith. Ask any confessional Lutheran pastor about these things and you will find that is indeed what Lutherans practice. And if the most Protestants of Protestants practice sacraments and the veneration of the Saints and the reading of the Church Fathers and books that you consider to be worthless dreck... Perhaps your Gospel is not as deep as it needs to be, even though it is a good starting place.

"Ecclesiasticus" for older folks. It was included in the Septuagint version of Scriptures long before the Masoretic translation (which was a corrupted Hebrew version), The "Septuagint ", was read and recognized as Scripture in Jesus' time as well as the Early Church Fathers. "The Greek translation of the Hebrew Scriptures called the Septuagint did include Ecclesiasticus, making it popular among Greek-speaking Jews in Egypt." "Ecclesiasticus was originally written in Hebrew though it also existed in Greek after being translated in Egypt by the author's grandson Joshua. It is believed Shimon was living in Alexandria, Egypt, where he had started a Jewish school, at the time of the book's compilation. " The Septuagint is the version of the Old Testament that has the most prophecies about Jesus Christ. The Masoretic translation corrupted many of those prophecies about Jesus or just removed them.

@@winterxmm Because you replied with such kindness and grace, I watched the videos you suggested. There is much I could reply to there. No doubt the arguments presented are well thought out, but I cannot agree. There are always difficulties in texts. The canonized Bible has many places where we all stop and do research to fully understand a passage so that it can be understood as harmonizing with the rest of the text. So too these apocrypha have such passages. Yet there is much in them that rings so true. I think everyone needs to stop and ask themselves why they accept certain books and not others. Is it because the Catholic church said so? Is it because some publisher decided they could make more money by publishing a smaller volume that didn't include books that trace their canonicity to before Christ and the writing of the Septuagint and probably well before that? If we are saying that what God spoke in scripture, which simply means writings, shall not be heard and we are saying it for frivolous reasons, woe to that person.
