The biggest flaw in TW3..no Iorveth. I will never forgive them

I was also disappointed with his absence in The Witcher 3. But he's still there in spirit because I hear his voice everywhere I go.

i mean hes right. Roche is smart, determined and ruthless if it serves temeria. he will never stop hunting the scoiataell because A. they helped kill foltest and B. they represent a threat to temeria itself. So Roche will hunt them down until they surrender and he´ll get better at it the more he does it. So the only logical measure for a group that cant surrender because theyll go extinct if they do is to kill roche and all the blue stripes or die trying. Theyre idiologically polar opposites but in the way and how they fight theyre the same. It wouldve been cool if they faced off in Wild hunt or better yet, fought against a common foe that threatens both of them, Nilfgaard or Siggi Reuven even tho he wouldve bested both of them probably.

Yes. This is essentially Group A vs Group B but imagining Group A + Group B challenge Group C can be more entertaining. I find it funny that both Roche and Iorveth had a chance to finish off the other depending on which one Geralt decided to work with to catch Letho. But they both spare each other for hilarious reasons.

@@Funkshoon The comment sections of witcher games are getting more and more smart it seems😅 we could just agree that the games are works of art, and probably every single character is well written☺ Oh and w2 is fantastic overall, imagine it having the w3 swordplay system though.

Iorveth's first allegiance is to the Scoia'tael, then to Saskia (who he believes will save the Scoia'tael). You can fault him for a lot of things, but you can't fault him too much for focusing on what he's been fighting for (for the last hundred years) vs helping out some random guy he just met. Roche is a bro though.

you know that he only saved you so you could keep looking for letho and later he wanted to terminate you. i dont need such toxic bros.

@@Funkshoon I dont like how Roche was really forced upon you in TW3 as some kind of great friend and Iorveth was never mentioned once. There was supossed to be an entire storyline with Dijkstra, Roche, Iorveth and Gaunter O'Dimm that was supposed to be in the main game but it was cut a couple of months before the game released. That's probably why the whole political questline in that game felt very off and unfinished to me.

@@jmdr7522 Yes, Iorveth's content was cut on purpose because CDPR couldn't finish in time. Perhaps they will learn some important lessons when their next big game is released.

i just finished tw2 and chose Iorveth as i personally also didn't like Roche that much and it's sad to hear i won't be seeing him in the next game at all, he was my favourite character next to Geralt. he was an important character in the story i chose so having roche in the next one but no Iorveth does seem strange and disappointing... they could have at least added him to a dlc or something :/
