Skyrim is a great game other than the limited monster scaling. I absolutely hated oblivion full level scaling (the end game content is as easy starting out as it is decked out) and I am glad the Witcher 3 will not be doing any kind of monster scaling at all. The lowliest wolf will still be the lowliest wolf ;p

Awesome demo, notice at 4:40 the hook used for the griffin appears to be the same one Geralt used to bring down Saesenthessis in the second game. Always love how they have continuity in Geralts' use of witcher equipment.

One of the reasons this game is much better than Dragon age inquisition is that not only is this amazing to look at but the monsters like the griffin ACTIVELY attacks you unlike the dragon i saw in dragon age which does the fire shooting that can be dodged and attack at distance...(my knowledge based on the gameplay demos)

Why does everyone bitch about the graphics? The game runs smoothly and seamlessly albeit a few hiccups here and there but so what? No one mentions the music, improved combat, or the fact that the npc somehow knew the player was currently undergoing a griffon hunt and offered an optional dialogue choice. No comments about the new hunting system either. All I see is pc master race, xbox bashing, and ps4 vs xbox comparisons. >_>

Not me. I didnt start liking Skyrim until I disabled maps and markers and enemy dots and markers from the radar. I kinda wish you had to deal with no mini maps and no map markers. I am sure the game will be great regardless tho.

W2 combat was good but it could of used some adjustments and refinement. IMO this looks "better" than Witcher 2's combat. Evading and strafing looks great.I prefer having the finishers happen in real-time without a cut-scene. I also like the fact Geralt uses shoulder,elbows and kicks to make space between enemies. I didn't notice how much damage or if any this inflicts,I will assume it will do a small amount but mainly incorporated to make space and stumble the opponent. The only part of the video that I can honestly say I did not "like" and needs improving,is the running animation. It still looks stiff and janky,for lack of a better way of putting it. I expect that and many other improvements to be done before release. It's the reason they decided to delay the game,among a few other reasons,was to polish the game to their and the fans expectations. I have no worries. Overall, The combat looks sleeker and more dynamic.Gotta say,I'm loving the dismemberment and gore,Though I wouldn't want it to happen to every single enemy in every encounter. Then it would end up becoming repetitive and lose it's "satisfaction". Before anyone spouts any complaints I would keep in mind this game is 9 months from release and it's looking awesome already. Those 8-9 months are going to bring additional polish in every category. Animation,combat,graphics etc. I am glad to see that the crossbow is not overpowered. Since the use of crossbows and ranged weapons in general goes against Witcher lore.A majority of fans were/are not too happy about it's inclusion. I think I am warming up to the idea after seeing it in action.Odd that it looks to be shooting out 3 separate bolts? sure looks like it. Curious to see and hear more about that along with other aspects of the combat.

So, the graphics are great, but still, the trailer that was recently released looked so much better, so they might be downgrading. As for gameplay, it's excellent, and the magic is well implemented. The music is phenomenal. There is going to be tons of great music in this game...I can tell already. The graphics might be better by next year, but honestly, I wouldn't mind if the game was released looking like this demo.

The graphics featured in the earlier trailer are those that will be in the PC release, the graphics of the console version will of course not look as well because of aliasing and lack of anisotropic filtering. It still looks pretty good. Also, this stream is only 720P.

There is only ONE thing I don't like about this so far... is how the camera is far away from the character! We just lose the immersion that way, please go back to The Witcher 2 camera... it's much better ;)

I actually prefer the camera to be far away like that, you can actually see where all the enemy are in combat, so you can do proper parries and counters, intend of rolling around constantly to avoid enemies attacks. Witcher 2 is good but the camera and combat was a bit clunky. I guess it's all depend on players preference. It should not be hard for the dev's to implement a camera angle setting though.

Not really the very extravagant moves geralt uses he can use because he's super human and those moves in sword play can be done and if you were to have a long sword in a real fight that doesn't involve a fire arm obviously, it wouldn't be much of a fight because IDK you have a long sword lol
