Monster decks' main weakness is quantity, but if you have other cards like the decoys, then you would do extremely well

What difficulty do you play on when getting these high scores?

On hard. If you choose the lighter ones, then the opponent has fewer cards and also fewer Decoy and Medic cards in the deck. That makes it even harder to get games like this.

How the amount of cards jumped from 17 to 4 when you deployed a spy?

When you draw muster cards it don't refresh the stack count.
