Every time I lister to this masterpiece, I get lost in thinking. Fun fact: The woman who voiced the character is Tom Hiddleston's sister.

Her voice sounded so calming and looking at Geralt's face at that moment was so saddening. It was as if he knew what was coming and the choices he had to make be it the good or bad ending.

Absolutely beautiful scene. I've always interpreted the various reactions of the crowd to be representations of Geralt's conflicted and complex relationship with Yen that the song is talking about that he would show had he not pushed them down.

started at witcher 3, was mostly lost but loved it, got to final battle point and put it down as i didn't want it to end, stopped playing it through fear of it ending .ffw years later, now watched netflix season 1 and 2 and now have a witcher fever. watched a witcher game 1 and 2 recap to fill the blanks. now with all my new found knowledge i have started witcher 3 again and im loving it 3 times more than before! its gone from a 8 out of 10 to a 10/10 one of the best games ever played, playing this time modded with reshade, gfx mods, 4k ultra and just got to this bit and wow. in a time where AAA games disappoint so badly ( cyberpunk, bf2042 etc), im starting to realize this has the most lore, feels the most alive and is one of the most immersive experiences ever. thank you Netflix for helping me get here

In 2020, I tried to play the first game but it was difficult for me, then I tried the second game, I finished the game, then I played the third game and this has become a tradition for me every year. I start playing Witcher 2 in August, then 1 month later I start playing Witcher 3 and I will finish the game in at least 40-45 days. I'm playing Witcher 2 right now :D

These scars long have yearned for your tender caress To bind our fortunes, damn what the stars own Rend my heart open, then your love profess A winding, weaving fate to which we both atone You flee my dream come the morning Your scent - berries tart, lilac sweet To dream of raven locks entwisted, stormy Of violet eyes, glistening as you weep The wolf I will follow into the storm To find your heart, its passion displaced By ire ever growing, hardening into stone Amidst the cold to hold you in a heated embrace You flee my dream come the morning Your scent - berries tart, lilac sweet To dream of raven locks entwisted, stormy Of violet eyes, glistening as you weep I know not if fate would have us live as one Or if by love's blind chance we've been bound The wish I whispered, when it all began Did it forge a love you might never have found? You flee my dream come the morning Your scent - berries tart, lilac sweet To dream of raven locks entwisted, stormy Of violet eyes, glistening as you weep

@royalwithchz_532821 күн бұрын
@@Bornmrpringle …no? Did you listen to the fucking song? It’s literally about how Geralt is desperately in love with Yennefer. He’ll never have her. She’ll flee his dreams come the morning - he’s left with the scent of berries tart and lilacs sweet. He dreams of being entwined with her raven hair and her lavender eyes weeping for the love they’ll always have but never really fulfill. Have you never been in love? Why would you equate this song to one about him cheated on? Dandelion told this bard of their love and she was so moved that she wrote a song that has me crying drunk about it.
