Skyrim is beautiful because no matter how much or how fast life changes, you can always come home to the same game you know and love. When I first played Skyrim, I was 11 years old. Now I am 22 with a degree and living in the adult world. Through life's ups and downs, Skyrim has always been there to keep me grounded and to help me return home. A true masterpiece, and a major part of many of our lives.

I'll never forget the cold winters eating chocolate pie mom made and watching TheSyndicateProject go nuts every time he heard a nirnroot... Then I got the game for myself and my mind was blown away. It's still got a charm to it, but it's different now that I'm older. Either way, I love it. Skyrim is like the old KOTOR games... Once in a decade kind of thing.

I've played skyrim since I was about 13 or 14. I remember I was staying the night with a friend who was my neighbor and he was playing skyrim and the game just seemed so cool we were using different spells to try to sneak up and beat a guard and we kept dying and trying again with a different strategy. I finally bought the game a week later and he came to my house and helped me get started we were good friends, we dont talk anymore because he went down a very bad path but ill never forget him for that and ill always be grateful to him for showing me Skyrim. Im 20 years old now. Haven't talked to him since I was probably 15 years old. Still play skyrim to this day and it will always remain my favorite game in the world. Skyrim literally changed my life.

ah this brings so much memories of playing skyrim on my potato pc 8-9 years ago. I had 1.3k hours on it. Right now i got a beefy pc, and was able to play skyrim at ultra with graphic mods, but for some reason, it didn't feel as fun as i was playing at that time. Is it because i'm a grown up man now, or rather it was the magic of having fun with 20 fps and appreciate what u have. Truth to be told, everything feels better at your childhood. Funnily enough, every kid wants to grow up as fast as they can but when they do, they want to feel the joy of being a kid again. But i digress. If you're still having fun gaming, appreciate it while it lasts because it doesn't last forever.

I'm finally able to play Skyrim again. I've been waiting for two years to return. I play as my second favorite race, dark elf, and I have 15-16 hours of gameplay from just 3-4 days. Skyrim was and is my favorite game. I made so many memories in and out of Skyrim. brings back peaceful memories of when life was good. hot summer days inside eating a popsicle (obviously being careful to not make the controllers sticky) and raiding bandit forts. If I didn't play Skyrim years ago I believe I wouldn't have gotten this far, Skyrim has kept me together, it has helped me not crumble under the weight of my broken family. Skyrim made me who I am. Whoever's reading this, when your done; close your eyes, listen, and think about when you were young. Don't try to be in control just feel the memories and yourself coming back. Think about how much you've gotten through to be where you are now. Imagine what it was really like when you played Skyrim for the first time and how exciting it was. The time in-between then and now. Think about what you knew then, what you now think you know, and how much you still don't know. As much as life might seem like it's hell, or if things just don't make any sense right now or you're in a bad place. Know that Skyrim has more dire problems going on consistently than in our world, and we still love it ❤️

You can imitate those good times all you want, but nothing will ever bring you back there. I remembered wanting nothing more than to be older and be able to do everything adults enjoy. Now i realize how good i had it back then when something so simple as Skyrim after a long day or some Minecraft with friends was some of the best times I'll probably ever have in my life. Nothing can bring it back, but the memories of those good times are always repeated when i hear these soundtracks, doesn't matter what game it is but the sound can take you back to something you forgot about a long time ago. And remind you that good times have come and gone and they will come again, there's always going to be a reminder to keep moving forward when you need it.

Before that, I watched my mom play Morrowind. My sister and I played Skyrim for so many hours... Every day we sat down together and took turns playing, commenting and having fun. We could complete quests, or we could just run around and scatter cheese - absolutely everything was so new and interesting. Such an atmosphere. And now, ten years later, I still play, experiencing the same feelings. Even during the battle with Alduin, I feel at home 😂 The developers perfectly managed to convey their world and atmosphere. During periods when I rarely play, I just want to sit and listen to this wonderful music.

I'm building a house near a mountain with forests. God I'm happy I'll be having walks on tracks like the one from this video.

Skyrim has the best atmosphere and world building of any game ever released by a wide margin.

This game has been said with all the memories and sadness how they cant enjoy it as much anymore and i feel for that, i would play with my friend on couch coop taking turns playing some 7 or 8 years ago, now he moved away and i have to think about getting a job soon. So many memories and not enough time to resurface them, life goes on, but this will always be a gem, bugs and all. I just miss how i could play it for hours, much more fulfilling than the city life to travel the mountains and forests of Skyrim like some magical viking or knight or what have you. Stay frosty everyone

This is so beautiful. The details ! I wish I could get into the picture and have a closer look at these shop windows. And, again, I love the fact that we can see people moving!
