I was using swords I found for 5-8 levels below my level cuz I couldn’t find any I completed the GoTY version recently Went to every marker in the game, did all but 3 side quests from the base game & DLC Loot drops are loads better in the DLC though Worth way more money to

Very rarely, in guarded treasures or smuggler loot there was an upgrade for me but not really worth mentioning anyway. It's still nice that the prices for that stuff goes up so you can easily make a thousand coins sometimes. Not even sure how much money I need in this game, though. All of the rare materials I seem to find on my own.

Actually, this chest can be retrieved while doing the gwent card quest (that's the door you can access). When you are chasing the guy for the money/card.

Tbh, this stuff is all around Novigrad, on the rooftops, especially near the large tree in the back of the town. Just parkour your way up there; if it looks like it can be done, then there will be loot. Even found my way into a top floor room with no other access, with a dead body in it (that I didn't put there, lol).

Renegade Squadron had a bunch of fun glitches, in Nabboo for example if you parked any vehicle against a particular wall and got out of it you would appear behind the wall and get away with murder from there

if you climb some rocks behind Rosa Van Attre house you’ll find a chest with a dwarven blade, and some other good stuff, quite useful for beginners

Free running in this game might have been the only real problem I had with it. I can't describe it perfectly but you feel like the character does not respond well to your controls and seems like he's sliding everytime (some animations are a bit clunky too). To get to this chest I guess the guy had to be extremely careful when he hit the joystick as only slightly moving it usually resulted in Geralt sliding on 3 meters and taking a long time to fully stop. To compare it to another game trying to have this inertia when controlling the character it was well better handled in rdr2 in my opinion and it also had way more finesse in responding to your inputs. Still one of the best video game experiences I had but how many falls could have been avoided if the free running system was a bit better.

@@Hibbzon maybe just try it out instead of talking shxt, they made alternative controls very early into the game's update cycle and I've always used it whenever I play Witcher 3. It literally makes you turn nearly in place if you input sudden direction change.

It doesn't change the fact that I still find some animations a bit clunky (the jumping and running in particular) and that the sensations were a bit off on that part (Geralt feels a bit too "light", thus the feeling of him sliding instead of running) but it definitely could have been a game improver if it works well.

Have y'all ever noticed the cave under the novigrad? I actually found it about 4 years ago and searched around the internet and didn't find anything mentioning it, there was a kinda ghost thing sitting on it's knees in a praying position like a necromancer or something cause there was star like paint with blood and candles there, when he attacked me he mimiced the fight style of geralt and a sword appeard in it's hands, don't really remember what it was, if anyone knows about it gimme a hint.

There's one of the witcher schools gear schematic in that cave. If I remember correctly it was some alchemist or mage who was experimenting on witcher of the school of cat to turn him into a vessel for a demon. So that was a posessed witcher.
