Besides the obvious, favorite characters, and it's really too hard to pick a favorite I absolutely loved Codringher and Finn and I can't possibly be the only fan. Those two were superb actors. And the parts they played were delightful. I want to be Finn. I am almost 64 and have four children raised who don't want to have anything to do with me now. I would love to be stuck in a place with a guy who was interested in investigating mysteries all day long. That would be my dream job minus all of the terror and danger 😂. But I definitely will keep the main characters that come to visit for sure.

Loved all the cast, but Henry is one hunk of a real man, that embodied the role of the witcher so well. He is my absolute favourite character. I was so sad when the writers stopped staying true to the books and Henry left the series. There will never be another that could fill his shoes. I used to love the show. Its dead to me now.

I’m totally fangirling over the character of yennefer. Like I relate so much I’m disabled I have 3 different curves in my back, I even have a slight jump on my back like yennefer originally did, just not as severe as hers. I was born with one side of my body not fully formed I had brace on one side of my face as a toddler I have metal plate in my head and a titanium rod in my back ( to keep the curve from worsening) i had 15 surgeries before the age of 7, I was rejected by my father, but loved and supported by my mother. I understand yennefers desire for power. When everything seems out of control and life and people reject you, you just want to feel in control and strong, you don’t want to feel weak and incompetent and like people think they can pity you and walk all over you. You want power, respect and most of all control. Her desire for a child could stem from a desire to be loved unconditionally because she was rejected as a child. I forget her name but the woman who bought her from her father saw something in her, of course she knew that the power came from there but she saw real potential still, and was tough on her but she was tough because she knew it would help her grow and evolve, and in a way I think she loved her( I can’t remember)

My favorite Teamings, the huge grumpy killer, and the tiny girl who turns into a bad ass warrior, a la Arya and the Hound, Geralt and Ciri. Single favorite. Ciri,.from GOT Arya. Kept hoping for a spin off of Arya and the Hound when I heard it was ending, course the fire took care of that, then got it more or less in the Witcher season 2.

I do like these actors, a lot, but I stopped watching the series after season 2. Season 1 got me to play the games and read all the Witcher books. I just wished that the producers and writers actually enjoyed the source material as much as the fans do! Maybe then they would write some competent story that doesn't contradict itself, and that respects the Witcher world. Plus, we'd still be having Henry Cavil as the Witcher...

@@Jessica-uo4qk Thanks for the recommendation, I may still decide to watch it once the second part of the season has been released, and the bigger questions have been revealed(like how they plan to "send off" Henry's Geralt). As for the most loyal in terms of tone & theme, I find that hard to believe given that they've made the biggest womaniser in the Witcher stories (Jaskier) a bisexual.. and with a man who originally was supposed to be a teenager no less. This sounds pretty out of tone for me. I do respect your feedback, so thanks :)

@@yourturn5059 I meant more in terms of Geralt, Yen & Ciri's dynamics and the overall plotting of the show - cards on the table I personally like the change of Jaskier being bi I think it suits his character arc without changing his womanising qualities, it was really nice to see Vespula this season, but I understand not everyone agrees. Maybe see how you feel about it once vol 2 has dropped, I have to admit I am nervous to see how they handle Henry's exit that will be a make or break moment for me.

I'd agree that Freya's too old since Ciri's introduced at 10, although that's probably for similar reasons the GoT kids were all aged up. Yennefer is enchanted to look like a young woman, as far as I've read, so Anya works, IMO.

Or maybe she could have very well done it, but the shitty script made her behave like an angry teenager and not like the mature, experienced, calm woman that Yennefer is supposed to be.
