As a huge Witcher fan, I love to see see how you'd redesign monsters from the original game. I hope it's not too much to ask, but I'd also like to see what kind of story quest you could pull off based on lore form the game. The St Trina and Chanting Winged Dames from Elden Ring was truly breathtaking. Looking forward to your next video.

Oh I really appreciate that you’ve watched my older videos! Yeah, the Witcher lore is indeed very rich and also close to me in terms of cultural background, so who knows - maybe one day I’ll whip something up😊

1:01 those look like some comfortable puddles to use as a copium strategy. The whole video brought me back to the bog area with the kids and the witches from The Witcher 3, those are some fond memories, the best story arc imo. I love the details in the tombs, how it focused on one that looks like a sailor's and there's another one like a compass at the beginning I think. Maybe there's a story there.

Yees I LOVED that Ladies of the Woods questline as well. That creepy tapestry still resides in my mind. And regarding the tombs - yeah I wish we had more lore notes about them

Witch-inspired content is a nice change of pace. Very impressive Eugenia. Did you model all this yourself? If so, any chance we'd see this on the Epic market? That would be a great way for others to directly support your artwork.

The smalls plants, ground rocks, fences, wheels and small debris are from Quixel while the rest - the whole building, the big trees and wooden idols were made by me :) Yeah, it was really refreshing to switch to something new for a change and I am super grateful for your supportive words!

Hey Eugenia, will you do a video on your thoughts related to the two Elden Ring DLC trailers? It would be interesting to approach them from a game-design perspective. There's even what appears to be St. Trina imaged there, and she looks a lot like your depiction!

I hope you are okay. You've kind of vanished off the face of the Earth. Given where you are from, that's concerning. Elden Ring DLC came out and... humm. Oh boy. I'll be honest and say that I don't think FromSoftare knew what to do with Miquella. I was really hoping to get something where Miquella acted as a kind of guide through the Shadow lands. Something maybe akin to Melina, but with more interactive character heft, like with Ranni's quests. We didn't get that. We got what I felt was a very contrived plot and not supported by the base game. St. Trina was there, but criminally underdeveloped as a character. No Gloam Eye'd queen at all. I was so hoping we'd get a kind of dark representation of Marika in the form of the Gloam-Eyed Queen. It would have made a proper final confrontation and send off for the series. So little explained from the base game, and no signs of a sequel. Elden Ring feels a lot like Game of Thrones; too many unresolved plotlines that lack a proper payoff/reveal. When you get back, it would be interesting to hear your thought on this.

Thank you so much for checking in! I'm doing okay here in Ukraine, but things have been quite intense lately, especially with the constant power outages, which is why I've had fewer opportunities to be online. Your kind words mean a lot! As for the Elden Ring DLC, I totally get where you're coming from. It seems like FromSoftware took some unexpected turns with Miquella, his consort figure, and the overall plotlines. I've seen many people online with a bitter aftertaste about how it all turned out and can understand why they would feel this way. Even though some of my expectations (especially regarding Miquella’s consort) didn’t come true, I really liked the DLC. I was very happy to see that they showed us more of Miquella himself, not only as a means to drive the DLC plot but also as the final boss. I feel fortunate to have encountered St. Trina, received some definite answers and closure for the main DLC plot, (even if I expected a completely different character to take the place of Miquella’s consort). I'm glad they explained their thinking behind the final boss and Malenia’s Battle of Aeonia. I do agree that it would have been fantastic to get more of St. Trina and the Gloam-Eyed Queen though. The anticipation for their presence in the DLC was huge, and I was expecting the Gloam-Eyed Queen to be at least mentioned in the item descriptions. However, I respect FromSoftware's decision not to include as much of her as we hoped. It seems that this will be the first and the last DLC for Elden Ring so I’m really intrigued to see what Fromsoft is cooking for their new game. Thanks again for your patience with me taking time to answer and for sharing your insights. Looking forward to discussing this more soon!

@@eugenialysa Thank you Eugenia for the detailed reply. It might have not been what I expected, but the visuals were very good. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Some months ago I shared some crumbling church scan assets with you from a recent marketplace pack. It's in your D**cord messages. If you find them useful, I can send you the rest. Idea for a future video: breakdown of the DLC from the perspective of an environmental artist. No pressure to put out art, just talk about what you see. Heck, it could even be an impromptu live stream. That would be fun. I do follow what is going on in Ukraine. Stay safe.
