The Wizard of Oz has arrived at Liverpool Empire Theatre! Jay has met the stars of the show, The Vivienne and Aston Merrygold to find out what you can expect. It's here until 7 January and you won't want to miss it!
Aston Merrygold will play The Tin Man and The Vivienne will play The Wicked Witch of the West.
Featuring the iconic original score from the Oscar-winning MGM film, including Over The Rainbow, Follow The Yellow Brick Road and We’re Off To See the Wizard - with additional songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice - this spectacular production will be a truly magical experience for all the family.

Saw it at wolves grand theatre today (sat 7:30 pm) FATASTIC layered effects, great performances and music- just passing by, so went in on the chance there were seats left when my plans went pleh! Been the second show i've seen in my life on my own whim (lady in black was my first)- if i hadn't done it then and there i'd miss out. Tip bring your own ridged plastic drinking flask (like those protein ones)- your booze will be safer than in those flimsy thin cups they give you- lost half of mine first time round!

Went to see it at Oxford's New Theatre on Friday and it was fantastic. The Vivienne was just fantastic as was the lightning and effects 😍

A Set is like props backdrop back round and say for the Wizard of Oz there would be a house that crashes. the which I hope this helped❤
