The reason why that moodys eye is meant to stick to a door is because it refers to when umbridge had it stuck to her office door in the ministry after Voldemort came back to power

Cherry the centaur is supposed to be Firenze. The one who saved Harry From Voldemort during his detention in his first year. The eye you could stick on a door when Umbridge had mad eye in her door. The post card is in honor of Gilderoy Lockhart. The dueling club is Flitwick.

On the Vial of Memories it says Ogden who was the man from Ministry of Magic who visited the Gaunt family. That was one of the first memories Dumbledore showed Harry in Half Blood Prince about Voldemort's past.

The Valentine's postcards were sent out in Chamber Secrets. Ginny sent Harry an inventive poem ("his eyes are as green as a fresh pickled toad..."). Probably a reference to Lockhart as it was his idea :)

I'm a huge fan of cherries been watching her a while now. I actually started watching you Danny after Cherry brought you up quite a few times revealing boxes. Now I'm a huge fan of you too. I absolutely love all of the book covers that come in, especially the paper wall artwork that you do. I’ve been actually looking around my house and trying to find a big enough wall to start a collage of all the papers that I've been getting in these boxes. Also, I don't have many books to hold those book covers, so I've been trying to figure out a DIY where I can make an empty book display purposes only.

On the off chance you've not twigged it, the tarot card is "The Lightning-struck Tower," and relates to the chapter in HBP where Dumbledore dies. I think the card might have been referenced in that book at some point by Trelawney as well...

The Bob Ogden memory vial is from when Dumbledore is taking Harry into the pensieve to learn about Voldemort's past. Dumbledore got the memory from Bob Ogden, Bob was a ministry official who went to the Gaunt's house because the son had been flagged for performing underage magic. In that memory we meet all the Gaunt's - the daughter being Voldemort's mother - and we "meet" Voldemort's father, but he just goes past the house 🤷‍♀️

The map, book cover and memory were my faves 😍 sticking Moody’s eye to the door fits as when Harry visits the ministry to find the locket, Umbridge had Moody’s eye stuck to her door to keep an eye on her workers opposite. Harry takes the eye and later buries it at the base of a gnarled looking tree to give moody some kind of burial as his body was gone when Lupin and Bill went to look for it ❤

I am absolutely jealous, I want the Mappa Stellarum So bad! I'll have to look at the website to see if they sell individual items. The cat plate made me laugh, I've never seen one like that before. You forgot to mention *Professor* Lockhart with the Dueling pin. The Memory Vial is of course just gorgeous. I like that it has a slight milky look to the liquid, it feels very authentic.I thought the Pufferfish Eyes were done beautifully, with that teal shimmer, the twine and very secure black wax seal. I agree with a comment I read suggesting the use of the portrait pins as hanging ornaments!

I feel like McGonagall/Transfiguration should have been represent better than a portrait. Even Flitwick’s pin representation said a little more about him. The eye could be for the wall. To stop a door knob from slamming into the wall of the next room.

The fish eyes were creative but as you said, repulsive. A great box this month! For the pins, especially the chunky ones, I stick them into small corks that I’ve hot glued magnets and my pin collection is displayed on my fridge. Then you can remove and still wear if desired.

I think this is the first box ever where I find it easier to list what I liked the least. So here it goes starting with least liked at number one: 1. Professor Moody's eye 2. Dueling Champion pin 3. Kitten plate 4. Slughorn's hourglass I genuinely liked everything else very much! ☺️

the memory vial says Ogden on it so it's the memory Albus got from Bob Ogden a member of the Magical Law Enforcement Patrol from when Ogden went to visit the Gaunt Shack.

we met Bob Ogden in the Pensieve, via a memory Dumbledore collected from Ogden before the Ministry official died. Dumbledore showed Ogden’s memory to Harry during one of their private lessons in Half-Blood Prince. Bob Ogden was dead by the time Harry saw this memory - he was around when Lord Voldemort’s mother, Merope Gaunt, was barely out of girlhood. When Harry dropped into his memory, Bob Ogden was acting in his capacity as a Ministry official. A wizard called Morfin Gaunt had ‘performed a jinx or hex on a Muggle, causing him to erupt in highly painful hives’ and Ogden was tasked with seeking Morfin out and summoning him to a Ministry hearing. However, Ogden got a little bit more than he bargained for when he turned up at the Gaunt house. He was met by Morfin Gaunt who hissed at him in Parseltongue - a language he couldn’t understand - and was then hit in the nose by a thoroughly unpleasant spell. The rest of the family weren’t much fun either. Marvolo Gaunt, who we later learned was Lord Voldemort’s grandfather, was obsessed with being descended from Salazar Slytherin, and treated Ogden - as well as his daughter Merope - with utter contempt.

Just wanted to say since so many people are like "how could you not know these references" that everyone is different and stores memories differently- I personally also don't get a few of the references but I still love the books and have read them many times- and every time I do I feel like I relearn things I forgot! I don't think its something worth complaining about/potentially making Cherry feel targeted. She's only human, and she makes great and magical entertainment!

She does make great content, and I like her very much. But having said such, you are not someone who is making You Tube videos and therefore making your living as a Potter fan and presenting to your audience the merchandise and such from that world. If her memory is becoming foggy then I think it time to reread the books so she doesn't lose the very audience that she is targeting. We like to feel understood and like we are experiencing these things with a die hard fellow Potter fan, often such as ourselves. Yes, we are all different and process memory differently, but if I am presenting Potter merch as a job, then I should know my stuff. I do not say this to be mean to Cherry. As I said, I like her and have liked her content for years, it's why I subscribed some years ago after all. It is said only as constructive criticism, as a helpful observation only. I haven't seen anyone here being mean to her. Only suggesting she brush up her memory. I feel myself that there were some very easy misses in this one, quite a few in fact.

That was a strong box of items. My favourite of the bunch is the memory vial. Love it. As for the Centaur statue, that’s supposed to be Firenze that saved Harry in the Forbidden Woods when Voldemort was there, and later became a teacher for Astronomy in the books. I really liked the duelling club pin as well, very nice. And yes, the eye was supposed to represent when Umbridge got his eye to stick on the wall when he came to power. Loved the unboxing. Cheers
