Jordan definitely got the best end of this trade. People tend to still be talking crap but we'll see after the season starts. I'm sure he will be able to play to his potential playing with a team that respects his game. He's 23 years old had three great seasons so let's see where we go from 💙❤🤟

For sure, Poole may average around what Beal averaged last season. Kuzma will most likely increase his production from last year as well. Probably won’t make the playoffs next year but still have some good pieces for a rebuild.

Great breakdown! As a Wizards fan I can tell you it was absolute doom and gloom mood after Beal and Porzingas trades. The GS trade saved the first year of out "trust the process" rebuild mode. Still not sure if that was all part of the plan and worked out beforehand, or if we just got lucky and GS just threw it in our lap.

I find the Jordan Poole situation similar to James Harden when he arrived to the Rockets (both were age 23) and he accelerated the Rockets rebuild. Worse case, the Wizards will raise his value and can be flipped for more future assets

I mean James Harden playoff run was more impressive then Poole. During that run, he was the 3rd best OKC player in the playoffs. Poole was perhaps 8th best player for warriors last post season and the warriors 6th - 7th best player for that chip year.

Wizards aren't done. Be on the lookout for a kuzma sign and trade. Delon Wright or monte Morris trades to consolidate positions. Then the deadline when value might be higher for some. I believe by seasons end we could have another 2-4 second rounders and potentially 1 more first depending on Kuzna's landing spot. Kuzma could also just walk

From my perspective, from those trades - for next season alone - only Poole will make a significant difference to the Wizards, so losing Beal won't hurt. However, losing Porzingis will hurt. Our first round pick is a project, so if no other off-season changes, the Wizards will be worse next season. But I agree that in the long run, the Wizards made good deals and have created enthusiasm for the future.
