That’s difficult because you are either a fan of the league and have biases or you are clueless about what’s important to the WNBA and their fans. I do think there are people out there that are smart enough to be professionals without showing a bias one way or another. I don’t know who has been running the WNBA account lately but it’s so obvious that it’s an Aces fan that doesn’t like Caitlin Clark for some reason. I get not liking her fans (a lot are annoying, let’s be real) but what did she do besides bring millions of new eyes to the league? Eyes = money.

It will only improve if they hire the right person or team. A great pro sports marketing team is the chargers for example. They are world class. But they vary well could hire someone who is a fan off the old guard and continues to fail at promoting their golden goose

Hopefully, whoever they hire will stop crapping on the the Goose with the Golden Egg. Promoting CC does NOT mean they have to marginalize others. But to pretend CC is just another player and doesn't represent the main reason the league's popularity skyrocketed last season is just bad business. We'll see if there's a change in direction the next few months.

Honestly, it’s not hard to wish every one of the active 156 roster players happy birthday. The NBA account does it with almost 450 active players. It takes a day to schedule all those tweets and you are done. Find a stock photo, do a short message and that’s it. It will go a long way and it brings attention to the league in a positive way because birthdays are fun.

DEI basically means don't inject personal biases into business decisions. If you think there is more to it, you likely never had a real job before. Every fast food chain even has these policies because any business that grows needs to make sure individuals don't think their job is something they are allowed to abuse. It's about keeping your business functional. Stop trying to pretend DEI="everything I hate that I made up in my head". It doesn't mean that.

Obvious that the media person for the W cannot perform his/her job without bias and that's not what DEI means btw. @@saamainong5392 Not hiring on merit in the US is almost entirely reserved to neopotism (who you know). Otherwise it doesn't really exist. Unless you were working in russia or china, you are full of it. Have you ever hired for your teams? There are two things you interview for. Make sure they can do the work and make sure they aren't an asshole. You want to know they can do the job and can work in a team environment. "DEI" training is a 3min read once a year to remind you not to inject personal bias into your job. They hire you for professional bias, not personal. People like you are so fake.

Yeah that’s not going to happen. He does 7-10 videos a day but right now he’s been stuck in a hotel in England with nothing to do. So he’s been talking to us. He will be ok. This is his passion.
