This is the first time seeing Chelsea Grey making some of those impressive passes that people have talked about. Lexi learned from playing with CC that if she gets open CC will find her. I think the reverse just happened with Chelsea. Lexi will get open with her hustle and very high court IQ and will reward Chelsea with the points and an assist. They make a powerful team and think they both realize it now. Expect to see a lot more of those two making plays and getting wins. Fun to watch basketball!

I like your answer to the statement "3x3 is not the same as 5x5". Great glare! In both games: * The ball size is the same. * The hoop size is the same. * You dribble the ball the same way. * Both involve fouls and free throws. The above skills all translate. Sure, the two games require different strategies for offense and defense. The point guard needs to read the floor differently. The court size is different. The shot clock has a different setting. But even these differences still require players to have the skills i listed above.

Rose team coach did not do her homework. Hull is a good 3x3 player and has the best experience in the whole Unrivaled League. She won the FIBA 3x3 2023 Pan-Am American cup representing teamUSA. She is a gold medalist in 3x3 basketball. She assumed that Hull is a 3D only player.

I hear this box score and all I can think is Caitlin almost had a triple-double 2 weeks before she officially got one. Her coach sat her with a few minutes left in the game and she was either two points or one assist short. This is worse in some ways because Lexie was hot and her coach sat her for the last quarter. How much better could she have played to get a couple more minutes?
@Juke5826 күн бұрын
You ignore she almost fouled out those games in first half and had no points in other games and is always inconsistent. When she is guarded she misses too. Always the bench spark until she sinks below that usually.

@stevedunn26215 күн бұрын
Sorry this speaks more to the Angel video you just did but here is a question. I do agree with the idea that Angel could be getting in her own head with the missed layups. But would anyone give any thought to the idea that maybe she is getting pressure on this team to pass more especially in light of the losses and the game plan to that point not working for the team? Possibly resulting in poor decision making? Is it possible that being generally just a role player that her BB IQ or lack there of is being seen? When her whole game is primarily just getting down in position for rebounds and put backs, there isn't much in the way of spur of the moment decision making i would say.
@TheAdrienneRossShow5 күн бұрын
@@stevedunn2621 I definitely don’t think this is about passing more, as no coach or player would give the ball up in this situation. I think she didn’t want to risk missing, which really makes me sad for her.
@stevedunn26215 күн бұрын
@@TheAdrienneRossShow Yeah no one would coach passing in that situation. My thought was just having her lay up woes combined with being encouraged to pass more. Does that just exacerbate a lack of critical thinking skills to make good decisions under pressure. Not sure why but I just have this feeling like she is similar to a situation I ran into years ago with a family looking to replace their elderly fathers car after he was in an accident. In the conversation what became clear was that he could drive fine as long as nothing out of the ordinary happened. But if any surprises came along, he lack the ability to make decisive decisions in the moment. So is Angel only useful at running scripted plays for the most part but maybe doesn't understand the game on deeper levels? Not trying to beat her up but something just seems amiss with her. Even with all her off court endeavors there just seems to be a disconnect with reality. Makes me question her thought process overall.

Lexie is an attractive white straight female and she's friends with Caitlin Clark. The worst thing Angel Reese could have ever done was to join a 3v3 league. It's easier to conceal her inadequacies in a 5v5 format, but the fewer players, the more open space, the more solid each player needs to be at both ends of the court to put together an effective team. Reese is a one-trick pony that can't do anything but get rebounds...and the longer the season goes, the more glaring her inadequacies will become. Taunting opponents while being the 4th best player on a team that beat a team with the best lady baller of all time was the only thing that ever made her relevant....but hype can only take you so far.

The TV commentators cannot have watched much basketball, previously in their life. Nor can they read stat sheets, judging by how they framed Lexie's performance. Lexi was the determining factor for winning a championship last season, you could see that she was not able to continue bailing out a sluggish offense and guard the opponents best man because you could see that at a certain point in the playoffs she just didn’t have the legs, all she needs is more conditioning and she could help to guarantee a championship, she is doing in Unrivaled what she has done for the fever once she found her stride!
@Juke5826 күн бұрын
She just won’t ever get better as she is settling for average. She is not very physically athletic like many to stand up to that WNBA league for much more than a few minute spurts. And because she uses her hands too much on defense vice legs to get body positioning and fouls way too much. She has ok skills like many college girls but for Pro not so much. Nobody guards her as she is not seen as a threat so she can get open shots but her percentages are actually low. She misses layups too. Lack of body athletic control there we see in others. She is very loose.

Dantas they may trade for better biggie or keep her to work on her scoring. I see her staying over Hull longterm.

@Juke5826 күн бұрын
Agree! It’s supposed to be an alternative league to keep them from having to go overseas to make money and stay in shape playing, but it does seem like trash street ball. Many are playing bad. Reese is so embarrassing it’s making people leave and not watch anymore. Only about 5 of them are playing same as they did in the W and it’s not surprising Phee and McBride would play well at all! They all are playing same as the W …. No improvement at all! I guess this is about people making money Espec the investors and they are banking on the fan increase of last season and they win no matter how poor the playing if the fans keep watching the trainwreck! People love trashy drama more than anything so the public will keep feeding this trash play giving them money they are not earning! I gave it a few games and decided it’s trash and am OUT. They will still be bad “chokers” in the final competition here too and ruin it for fans like the W sure did! Very few games are worth watching ….same as the WNBA. I try to choose wisely 😆🤣
@Juke5826 күн бұрын
It’s an off season league to keep them in shape so everyone will play …..win or not! It’s not about improving skill with those 3rd rate coaches either. It’s just giving the players more money to not have to be forced to go overseas in offseason to survive as they don’t make ANY money to live in offseason you know???
