Great review bro!! I'm really happy you like this head sculpt over the other two HT Wolvies because I've been wanting a Hot Toys Wolverine ever since I first saw your Origins one and this video helped me feel that I made a good purchase. Only really gripe is I do wish he was more buffed.

the head on this figure is bigger than the previous versions. so when you put it on the older versions of wolverine the head looks big.

Some people believe that the head is too big and that the skin on his neck isn't painted very well. Is it the same with your figure?

I like this Wolverine, but without the suit it just doesn't work. I think it was deliberately done to not be huge with the suit on, since all that cloth does make him bulkier. And you can tell by looking at the neck, it's way to disproportionate for the body size. The neck works with the suit on, but looks bad with alternate clothing. A second, bigger body would work great, I think. With an extra head sculpt, of course :P

Just came here to confirm...I just got this and am a little disappointed in the head sculpt. Was wondering if I got scammed but no, the final product did look like this. The preview I remember from Sideshow Collectibles was much more lifelike. Yeah lighting is a factor, but IMO the prototype shown on the site is literally a different product. What we got is close but no cigar. Needs deeper laugh lines/crow's feet and more pronounced veins to reflect his low body fat. Don't get me wrong, still happy to have this figure, all the other details are amazing, but when you're paying $200+ the head sculpt needs to be perfect.

Thank you for your review Sean, I have a large collection of Hot Toys but am disappointed with the size of the figure. I agree it could be bigger and the head sculpt by now should be perfect after 3 attempts... It still is not right....I feel for the money Hot Toys figures cost there really are no excuses these figures should be excellent, which most are and I would add this does look good but not up to their high standard in my opinion as far as likeness goes....
