While we never got to see Hugh wear the iconic yellow and blue/black costume, we got to see Hugh Jackman embody the sheer savagery and brutality that Wolverine is known for. Just take the final hurrah in "Logan" where Hugh gets to be the violent, unstoppable machine one last time. Roaring and screaming, slicing down anyone in his way. Despite "Last Stand"'s poor reception, despite the disappointing "Origins: Wolverine", "Logan" proves that Hugh Jackman *is* Wolverine, and as far as I'm concerned, no one else will be able to top him.

Wolverine got the much needed attention and opened the eyes to all of us who knew a comic book movie could be better than the disasters we had to suffer through over the years. Batman and Robin, 1990's Captain America, The Punisher 2 with Jigsaw are just a few examples of what was expected of anything else coming out, that is until X-Men and Wolverines Character. He paved or clawed the way for what what we have now and will never be topped, not even close but unfortunately all good things must come to an end. And how they had him dying with his daughter holding his hand going back to Yukio's vision was brilliant.

For almost 200 years, Logan has been unable to die and has been forced to watch everyone else he knows and cared about die. Now he can finally join them. I think if Victor was in Logan, they could have had an awesome final battle side by side and the two brothers died together.
