I believe linking elizabeth boleyn with her neighbors etc is an excellent lead to knowing more about her and the boleyn family! Keep up the great research! I think the Boleyn family has been villified to much!

Sophia is becoming a favorite guest. Thinking about people who haven't been noticed before. All pieces complete the puzzle. And Sophia is energetic. 👍

What podcast about the princes in the tower are you both referring to in this episode? I'd love to listen to it. Thank you!

The Mother of Maids position must have been very much in the background. I picture older, or at least middle aged women with that title. Interestingly, apparently the Mother of Maids was not called upon to give testimony, say when Anne Boleyn or Katherine Howard were in trouble. Henry got rid of both of those wives in underhanded ways, so probably honest testimony was never wanted. But Jane Boleyn aided Katherine Howard in the dangerous activities that caused their ends. Apparently the Mother of Maids had nothing to do with the queen's behaviour? And whatever Jane's official position, it sounds like she was not subject to counsel from the Mother of Maids. If it was a more important position, I think we would know more.

Am I correct in thinking Margaret Beaufort served in the household of Elizabeth Woodville? wouldn't that be similar to the suggestion of Elizabeth Barton serving Anne Boleyn? Since Margaret Beaufort's son, Henry Tudor, had a claim to the English throne?

That's a great question that I do not know the answer to. I do know in The White Queen they depicted that, but not sure if that was artistic licensing by Gregory.

Speaking of maids, has anyone researched Anne Boleyn’s maids?

Why do I suspect you wont like my book? Thomas and Edward are the villains however Arthur Tudor also doesn't die until 1524 so it's hardly historically accurate.
