I watched a ton of these yesterday, I almost didn't sleep because I kept overthinking about diseases and stuff. And after I finally fell asleep I woke up in the middle of the night sweating even though I had taken off all the extra clothing I was wearing before, it took me some more time to sleep again and I was extremely tired in the morning. I literally couldn't stop thinking about diseases, whenever I tried to think of something else my brain would just shove the topic away and go back to diseases.

Lol. Do you think everything she said to the doctors at that tine made it into the film? This need to have every detail explained and neatly wrapped up in by the end of a film is what the rest of us in the west ( ireland and the UK anyway) notice about the Anerican audience. We even change film endings to suit them. Lol. Couldn't you think of an explanation yourselves instead of thinking it' s a flaw in the film? The logical answer to why it was not mentioned again might be because it had nothing to do with the diagnosis. And if was something to do with it, it doesn't actually matter because it's not needed for the story. Lads, leave something to the imagination!

Finally last year I found a doctor that sent me straight to surgery after 1 appointment, 2 weeks after the appointment I had my laparoscopy to get diagnosed and it was a birth defect that hung from my uterus, after the surgery all my pain went away... I will never forgive the doctors that ignored my pain and thought i was weak, I missed out weeks from school and work and was stuck in bed more times than I remember and no one did anything, this also happens for most women with endometriosis, doctors say it's normal period pain even thought its the entire month

When doctors dont know answers, all they do is send you to do these tests 1. Blood test 2. MRI 3. Radiology 4. CT scan 5. X ray And all comes back negative Doctors: I dont know whats going on So useful

I expect them to keep digging until they find what’s wrong. I can’t believe it took years to diagnose this woman when it took a doctor at another hospital only a few days.

I feel for these people. I had it easy relatively. I had a misdiagnosis of swelling and redness in my elbow. First idiot and arrogant Dr said it was an allergy. Three days later the swelling and pain was halfway up and down my arm. I spent a week in hospital on IV antibiotics. Hospital Dr's 1st thought they'd have to operate. Glad I lied and said I feel a little better. The slightly loose skin from the swelling is no biggie. Dr's are one of the leading causes of death.

I thought that the woman in the 1st case can have gangrene cuz she had a a bite before and then it started spreading in her legs. I have heard many cases about it and I have even studied about it. And if treated earlier, it can be treated without cutting the legs but late treatment can lead to cutting the legs.

Here, in Australia, most conditions can be correctly diagnosed at any of the large hospitals. They have masses of diagnostic equipment and services readily available.
@lellyt23725 жыл бұрын
That's great, except the doctor has to have SOME idea of what to look for. There isn't one "test to rule them all" ! The vast majority of tests are relatively specific and if they perform one to test for 7 markers and you actually have marker no. 8 it won't find it. Medicine is a science with a large element of detective work and I bet you could film a show in Australia like this, just like you could in America or England or Ireland or anywhere that has large hospitals with an abundance of diagnostic techniques and equipment
@bendietrees4 жыл бұрын
Oh sure. I've see multiple endocrinologists both public and private here in Australia and they are all happy with my numbers (I have hashimotos thyroiditis) but have no answers for me when I tell them I still have symptoms except for " see a counselor". Stop romanticizing Australian healthcare.
@darkallegiance6664 жыл бұрын
I’m happy you specified “most” conditions, because I’m Australian, have been (& still go) to large hospitals & Specialist clinics & despite numerous (to say the least) tests of various sorts, have been waiting for a concrete diagnosis for over 20 years. Auto-Immune diseases are not so easy to diagnose in Australia as you seem to believe, dearie.

It is so frustrating in this day and age to see doctor after doctor not know what to do with people. Its happened multiple times in my own family and friends families to the point where Ive had to read a medical book on Down Syndrome so i can diagnose my son before we see a doctor so i can tell them what we need for him. Ive done it for myself. I go in and tell them whats wrong and what we should do about it. We just need doctors and paediatricians to write scripts. Its that bad.

If the symptoms are only on one side of the body usually it’s something that’s connected with the neurological system: the brain needs to be checked.
