I was young and was so mad at Lennon. Hated Yoko. Felt sorry for baby Julian. As an adult I understand. They became different people. His will that didn’t include his son just infuriated me. He was thoughtless and hurt Julian

Most of this I already knew but it was still interesting to watch. I still think John loved Cynthia. He always looked so happy in their pictures. I didn't realize how much Yoko stalked John. I knew she did a little but not to the extent this program says. Heather liked Paul's money and his public profile. Theirs was the only elaborate wedding in an old church. When they were together they were photographed everywhere. I got to the point I was tired of seeing him. Now he's back to his low, normal profile.

Cynthia and Pattie sound so much alike in tone, not accent. I hate that racist remark regarding black maids by Paul McCar by Paul McCartney. Why couldn't she had been watching any Maid cook in the kitchen. For some reason, I never liked him and now I know why.

John was NEVER disinterested in the Beatles, especially Paul. This is the narrative John and Yoko fabricated after break up, just like a lot of their love story is fabricated. John was very hurt by the break up: he was on heroin since he met Yoko, he has no self confidence which made him an easy target for Allen Klein. He tried a lot of power moves to gain his confidence and put pressure on Paul to step down as driving force for the Beatles since 1966 including saying he will leave the group and Paul announcing he is leaving publicly before he does. After the break up put a lot of damage on public view of Paul’s artistic abilities which he apologized later but damage was done. This was the narrative they maintained together with the help of owner of Rolling Stone magazine at that time.
