Obviously, I see Wonka as more whimsical than dark. But I definitely think that Slugworth, Ficklegruber and Prodnose were part of the reason, seeing as they sent spies to the factory to steal Wonka's secret recipes.

Wanting to cause harm to children and reprimand their parents! Chalamets version is when Wonka was younger and more optimistic and ambitious! It’s a much easier watch Tbr!
