In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Was privileged to study with this man when he headed the MFA Illustration program at SVA in the early 90's... he changed the way i saw the world around me as well where I saw myself as an artist within it. I count myself as lucky to have known him... and even more grateful to have been able to learn from him. I miss him already... the man who taught me to see aura around everyone.

He has a fantastic way of understanding his world and the problematic world that belongs to us all. Life experience is king.

Brilliant! Art should always be: "That was an amazing shot. AND Why did you kill that thing?" Rembrandt's Carcass of Beef has it. Zen master Dogen (13th C. ) said it well enough: "It is too late to be ready."

Very knowlagabel although I'm not a fan of very dark paintings you can see the talent, I didn't care for him much at the beginning but that changed as he progressed,, definately his brother is not someone on my "to meet for coffee list".
