Thank you. This is not something that can be done in a couple of hours that's for sure, but the end result is quite impressive. People never think this is made out of wood, it's why I always leave the bottom of each piece I do like that bare wood.

Did Renee crochet / knit the doily to go under the woodpecker as well? Either way, great job!

She's trying to crochet chairs feet and end-up always redoing them over and over, so no she doesn't crochet. we bought it in a store.

I have to ask...Why didn't you just make the bird and attach it to a real log?

The legs would have been too hard to make, like this the legs are part of the trunk when I carve it
