The attention to details and your urges to always look for improvement are among the reasons why I appreciate your knives and your videos. You also find unique solutions to old problems by thinking out of the box. Most importantly, all your designs are functional. You deserve more recognition and I’m sure it will come.

😂 As I said when we spoke, it’s my personal favourite. It works for me on an instinctual/subconscious level that’s hard to explain. So if it’s caught your attention I can understand that.

Brilliant woods tool Kevin. I did make it home yesterday and retrieved my Woodsman from the P.O. The vacation hold worked well while I was away. I'm looking forward to putting it to work. Your craftsmanship in every aspect is phenomenal. For anyone reading my comment, I'd describe myself as a tool user and enthusiast. Grew up on a farm, became a firefighter, then a cook/baker and produce guy. I've always used knives and hand tools. I camp. motorcycle, and sometimes combine the two along with work around my property. The handle is nice and full with the scallops/grooves fitting me like a glove. I'm a size Large in Asian manufactured gloves, such as the Mechanics brand, for anyone reading my comment. Great edge out of the box and the saw teeth have a good bite as well. There is a solid "heft" to the tool. I preferred a heavier axe on the job as I could let it perform much of the work rather than me swinging harder, I think that is where the Woodsman will excel as well. The Kydex sheath is fantastic. I found the design to be intuitive and I had seen earlier videos .Thank you for this video as it reinforced any ideas on technique and safety while sheathing and unsheathing. I've been cut seriously in the past by being careless. One tip I can add is using my thumb on the right hand I push against the Kydex on the handle to give the knife an initial push off from its nested position. I'm also using a two grip method, I begin with my left hand holding the pin's Kydex free of the knife, once the knife is free of the nested position I move my left hand wrapping the point/tip of the Kydex while pulling the knife totally free with the right hand. That keeps my hands clear of being cut during unsheathing. Food for thought for anyone else. The bow drill bearing is solid kit as well. Fits perfectly snug in the handle and spins well. The dog tags are too cool! 😎 I'd also like to thank you for all the communication along the way. Phone calls, emails... I think I mentioned that I've bought vehicles that I don't receive the kind of customer service you provide.

@@originknives Hello Kevin, I just wanted to let you know my Woodsman has arrived. Stunning! This blade is on another level. I own dozens of higher end knives, including many from WC knives. I will say, without a doubt, this is the nicest blade I have yet to handle! I see you threw in the bow drill adapter, which I believe was an extra. I make a video as soon as I can. Thank-you, Rob
