I love this video on so many levels. First off I make stuff too and I thinks your rig is really cool. I would have added a possibles bag and put the canteen in it. It get it it if your saving weight though. I love that you used Shadow Cats version of "We will go home" I follow her on your Tube and love her voice. And taking your cat out in the woods for a walk is really cool too. I have never seen it done before. God bless.
@Rick_Sanchez_C137_5 жыл бұрын
Landser64 Growing up we had a cat that was constantly going into the woods next to our house to play and hunt. We as kids played in those woods often. The cat would play with us at home all the time, but would never accompany us to the woods and rarely let us even get close when we saw her in the woods... I am jealous that yours goes to the woods with you and interacts when there...

That is nice work and well thought out, a place for everything, and everything in its place... Travel fast and travel light, take only what you need. Looks like it is very comfortable, everything accessible, but out of the way... I see you have a woods cat too, I have one that follows me to the woods every time I set off, they make pretty good hunting companions... one of "my" cats seems to know we are hunting and will sit and intently watch an area with me, and most often alert me to movement before I have noticed it....

Well thought out and put togather, now I will have to make something simalar. But I'm thinking making straps to put exsisting pouches on, using the screw togather rivets. As for the axe, I will carry my Peterson Type C Nordland axe, a design from Norway and Sweden. And good video, glad to see Mr. Cat is still hanging out with you.

I love the design! Great efficient way to carry all your woods tools. It always seems as though a water bottle is too heavy to carry on a belt, and really needs a shoulder strap. Why not use those straps for everything else as well! Also, is that your cat?? You have a bushcraft cat buddy?!? That is awesome! So much cooler than the dogs everyone else has out in the woods with them.

Mate thumbs up! That is a nice piece of kit. I'm thinking this will be on my 'must make' list. Is the cat your camping buddy? When we have a lot of guests of the farm I see it as an excuse to grab the hammock and sleep out next to the river. The two cat always seem to find me and I wake up in the morning with one at my feet and the other under the sleeping bag. I really like this sling and will be making one to carry a bolo. Thanks for posting this up!
