Morning JP - it’s nice to see that I’m not the only one who starts a job and then discovers problems halfway through! Glad you got them out and it all worked out!

Morning Paul. Yes, for that 0.1% of time you need to use them they are invaluable but other than that they are a pain to store. Regards JP

Whoopsie. Building the shop around the ladder. Hey ho it's out and the work goes on. Thanks John. Take care & stay safe. On that note, I did notice a time or 3 when the Base Camp mask could have been in use. Nudge nudge.

Hi Doug. Yes fair point, I should have worn it a little more today. Thanks for the nudge 👍🏼 Regards JP

Hi John, I'm beginning to think that (like a previous commenter) with the amount of ground you have, find another spot and build a proper workshop from the foundations up. Once built, you could redo the barn properly for gardening equipment and storage. 🏴👍🏻 All the best for 2025 🍻

Hi Ged. Problem is the French planning laws and the property tax I would need to pay for a new construction. I could wait years for approval. I also like renovating rather than starting from scratch. Regards JP

@@Smallbarnworkshop you are right John, I am having the same problem with the shack outside the house I just bought here. There is a fine line between getting simple authorisations and permits. Bottom line I have to do the best I can with 23 usable square meters to fit in all my tools. In the process, I have become the best caster wheels customer in my local hardware shop😊
