If you want to help prevent spoilers, hiding the top line with the holders would have been useful for hiding current holders which spoiled Austria. Or just sim to before the final like you did with the other World Cup by accident. Think that would be better.

Gareth Southgate is starting to look like a genius, always playing the same out of form starting XI, so that when fifa eventually implement this for the 2026 world cup, Southgate still has all his best players available (assuming they don't switched nations in the meantime)

24:04 What I love from this experiment is the fact that Toti Gomes from Wolves was only called up to the Portuguese NT on the 2nd "cleansing" but irl he has been randomly called up by Martinez thrice, which has led to calls of Jorge Mendes' influence on the Portuguese NT xD

In the second simulation, the one where all teams have to change their squad, France conceaded only one goal in the world cup, and it's the one which got them knocked out of the competition.

We are 36th in the world, dropped down a few places in the last update due to losing to Spain (robbed that game) France in a friendly and the two draws in the Euro qualifiers which were pointless games anyway as already qualified.

now do that all players which have second/more nationalities switch to it, ideally the most obscure one, would be sick!! others just keep playing for theirs country but that would hugely close quality gaps between all countries i believe

This would be very problematic for me. I tend, as an international head coach, to give caps to all sorts of players to help with their international experience (or if I see they have a contract clause that raises their wages, yes I am that mean to the AI). Lots of people end up with a handful of caps and goalkeepers get goals because I make sure they take at least one penalty kick in their international career.
