I have movies reporting about the Shoah, watching these videos make me cry. I can imagine those days back when the Inquisition. My family were in Spain. I have tried not to get angry, because I feel that we were robbed of the Torah way of life. To become idols worshippers and I am the only one in my family who have returned. I am 72yrs old. The seventh child and all were lost in idolatry. Some have died without knowing. They kept us ignorant about our legacy, faith in our Creator. I hope that Hashem, blessed is He, have mercy on their souls.

We all have our self introspection and reflection as individuals during this time, but what about the Shuls/leadership? What is their responsibility to their respective communities when the doors of the shul reopen? How will they change and adapt to the individuals that make up their community or will it be business as usual?

hello Rabbi, is righteousness a characteristic of a living conscious being capable of independent thought or does a inanimate object such as a light bulb produced similar to many others have this characteristic?

Oh absolutely!! Im no rabbi, but if I may deduce some minor functions from the wealth of ideas proposed so succinctly by this here top student of the Rabbi Menachem Mendel OBM there certainly may be much wisdom knowledge and inspiration from even the lowliest of our highest engineering attainments in todays world, not incongruent with kabbalistic and hassidic teachings espoused and propagated by Rabbi Schneersohn, God rest his soul. We can prove this from his practical emancipation of every body he ever met- he inspired them to become enthralled by their mere existence! and thereby restore what modern society has by default attempted to fabricate- people into a homogenoeus media-drugged-fightless-mass of lost individuality, purposeless materialistic chasing, with no end in sight! The Rebbe was, and through is teachings still is, a true Rebel A rebel against mediocrity A rebel against complacency A rebel against all the new 'walls' of man's artificial, television-fed flatness and acceptance of a low standard of living, both physically and spiritually. Rabbi YYJ brings to the fore a new/old standard of excellence we may have been blinded to or may have temporarily forgotten, or, worse still, placed at the bottom of our true list of values, through the constant incessant tirade/barrage of colorful media-message driven plastickness of digital immediacy. Not to say that the Rabbi YYJ is innovating this! (though innovate he does and grandly so) The Rabbi of 770 was certainly a social engineer for the good! By truly understanding the full force and influence of the media, he himself was the only special forces operative, since the first Moses and the second Moses (Rambam) to fully understand and exploit the media. Moses did it in stone, then the Greeks forged his technique. Rambam did it in print. SchneersohnOBM did it with satellite TV, and by walking the streets and high offices of Manhattans trade centers Now Rabbi YY does it online See! the common infinite thread that weaves all together from a common needle into a fantastic fabric of infinite surface area!!!
