My guess he would have brought in Pirlo, who left Milan in 2011, signed Cahill at the start of the season and Hazard who had just won Ligue 1 with Lille. Chelsea finish 3rd that season, but another FA Cup and a closely run 2-1 win over Bayern in the CL Final, instead of penalties means he earns his 3rd CL and another few seasons at the Bridge. Meanwhile Spurs still just manage to finish 4th and Arsenal miss out on the CL. Mata probably ends up at United earlier than irl to fill the void of Rooney who had become an out and out striker by this point. The City/United game at the Etihad in April ends 1-1 thanks to Mata's influence, meaning no. 20 comes earlier than irl with United 3 points clear of City in the end. City eventually win the league as they bring in Van Persie for the 12-13 season as Fergie bows out of football with an FA Cup instead, still signing Zaha but also bringing in Lewandowski to come in for the 13-14 season. Hopefully, either Solskjaer or Blanc are picked by Fergie to continue the fort and not David Moyes, who stays at Everton. As for PSG and Real Madrid, the Parisians decide to bring in Didier Deschamps (Laurent Blanc was France manager at the time) for the first two seasons, winning Ligue 1 in the second after Ibrahimovic signed for them, before the events of these two clubs clash. Real Madrid's years go largely unchanged. Title in 2012 before Mourinho leaves at the end of 2013, but not to go back to Chelsea, instead going to PSG and bringing the likes of Oscar, Willian, Cavani, Ozil and even Ronaldo with him. And yes, they scoop every possible trophy in 13-14, beating Ancelotti's Chelsea in the CL quarter, overwhelming Simeone's Atletico in the semi and finally beating Guardiola's Bayern in the final (Bayern's 3rd successive final btw as they beat Dortmund again in this semi) I would go for further but I'll stop with Real Madrid. They bring in Zidane for the 13-14 season and despite losing Ronaldo and Ozil, still manage to sign Bale (though the world record fee is still Ronaldo with his move to PSG) as well as a certain French youth prospect, think his name may have been Mbappe? Like Ancelotti irl finishes 3rd and reaches the Copa final, being overwhelmed by a Messi and Alexis inspired Barcelona, and losing to Dortmund (with Aubameyang replacing Lewandowski) in the CL quarter final. Zidane is sent back to the Castilla side afterwards and they try a few managers to bring in the Liga, eventually bringing in Ancelotti who manages a few more league titles in 13-14 and 14-15 at Chelsea, bowing out a Blues legend. Pirlo and Lampard also leave Chelsea at this point for the MLS. His replacement is Guus Hiddink for at the very least the 15-16 season, finishing at least 4th ahead of City and Liverpool as Leicester's dream title still happens. Meaning Guardiola either goes to Chelsea or United with City not in a position to entice him enough after 1 league title and not getting past the CL Ro16 still. I'll leave it there for now, Ancelotti staying at Chelsea would have probably been for the better honestly, they shouldn't have replaced him with Villas Boas at least.

Big (ish) club in West London, great area, big potential, it'd probably be a more attractive prospect for him than Man City ironically.
