I mentioned that these guys have an Appleseed Cast guitar vibe in another video but this one has an Explosions In The Sky vibe, i like the female vocals as well. I had never heard of them before the last video I just saw. So far they sound consistent in their style.

The singing is pretty atrocious at points and the drummer is playing way too fast but you can't deny that their songwriting is excellent.

As a drummer myself, I can totally get how easy it would be to get going faster than everyone else on this track. But I'm fine with the singing, with this type of music it's all about passion, and these vocals are defiantly passionate. (and hey, the singer of American Football doesn't usually sound that good live, but they are still praised)

Yeah I totally get all of that. I guess it's just weird because I always imagined them as being a super tight band and this just sounds pretty sloppy. Still one of my favorite studio bands

i have got to say that when i heard them in Birmingham, England they played perfectly, their voices were much better and so was the tempo of the drummer. (as a drummer myself it is easy to speed up when not using a click track, much like what twiabp do)
