Right now, I don't think that Faye can replace anyone in the first team. However, that CDM position for Barca is up for grabs. Long term, I think that that should be the adaptation process for Faye. Having Faye ahead of Cubarsi and Araujo, while being along side players like Frankie, Gundogan, Gavi and so forth will work wonders! IDK maybe I'm going crazy.

Honestly Barca dont need to kill themselves looking for CDM, that are many good players that can transition into CDM: Cubarsi, Casado, Christensen, Pau Prim. A bit of priming and coaching they can do a good job. Focus all resouces on a creative attacing winger: Kvara, Wirtz or Raphael Leao.

Long range shots were not welcomed in recent history. I dont know what stopped them from doing that. Xavi, Iniesta, Deco, Marquez, Van Bommel, Edmilson, Keita, YaYa Toure, Rakitic, Gio Van Bronkhurst all used to take long range shots. Long range shooting is something you do with reading the game and when you get space.
