Mom i made it in a KZbin video Jokes aside there is more racing content from Streets of LA which is only accessible though completing a chapter 100%. The game rewards the player with nine upgrades. Those being new fighting moves, new gun tricks and you guessed it, new vehicles. Which there are 3 to be unlocked as seen in 9:52. Regardless, great video mate!

I have done alot of "racing" in Car Mechanic Simulator 2018. it's single player, time trial, and the racing is entirely pointless. When you do repair missions or go to barns you can get upgraded parts. (600h in I realize I have not tested those upgraded parts...) There are also user-created maps which are great, like the Nurburgring.

The Driving in Tear Down suprises me to this day. And that's my biggest pet peeve in non racing games that have cars. It's how ass it usually is, like watchdogs 1 & 2 car handling and acceleration feelings

Yo DoVe, i got a suggestion. Though it is well known, ROCKET RACING in Fortnite is something I'd count as racing in a non-racing game. This is cuz Fortnite is mainly a BR game with Rocket Racing as some kind of side-game involving Rocket League's cars (and the many collabs Epic has made with manufacturers like Lamborghini and McLaren)

I remember you confirming you used a track from the game Zero Escape Virtues Last Reward (noticed danganronpa in your last non racing game video too! great music choices, mass effect is always a great choice too). But I wanted to mention if you haven't seen the 10 minute promotional OVA anime they made for VLR, it actually opens with a car chase scene now, its free on youtube and actually sets up the game quite well. In a sense its a huge improvement having that intense car chase start, racing in a visual novel game is one genre cross hard to pull off but such a fun choice for the promo anime adaptation

The problem is, that almost all of my gamer friends don't like racing games so each and every single one of them sees the racing content as "that one level", hence why it's probably kept to either time trials or 1 race that's not repeatable.

I remember the races in mafia 3 were a mixed bag one race the a.i would boost past you forcing you to constantly look at the mirror and prevent them from getting past you while other races they would fall behind but the game would spawn traffic cars to make up for the a.i messing up, it was such a weird game mechanic

If You're looking for racing that is diffrent and sort of unique, ther are technicly 3 types in The Witcher 3, two for horse racing (base game and in 2nd dlc) and one that is running, but it is one time opportunity in quest on Skellige.

Hi Dove, would you try to see Suikoden 5??? that has racing games involving the Dragon as your mounts and it has 8 tracks and funny but competent AI to beat them too. It was bit hard to learn but once you master it, it will be different than usual play. I know this is weird thing since it was Full ROG type, but it was fun to play due there are mini games to play too.

Twisted Metal (2012) had a couple of races as part of its campaign. Now, from an outsider perspective, you'd probably think that's normal and unsurprising, the game is already centered around driving combat-ready vehicles. But Twisted Metal was never made for racing, it plays more like a shooter and the handling and controls reflect that, which made for a rather atrocious racing experience.

5:54 You didn't play enough. After you do enough races, it goes from time trials to actual races. Speaking of Brutal Legend, it has an unused multiplayer combat racing mode that can be re-enabled. Sadly it's only setup for one map and there's no way to easily set it up for other maps (no way of getting coordinates).

You should include Garry's Mod. It doesn't really have anything in actual racing, but there's mods to improv that. You could also take a look at Half-Life Rally, a HL1 mod that turns the FPS game into a rally game.
