I personally worked on several songs under various K-pop companies, small and larger, where we produced and recorded the song with the artists, but for various reasons some songs don't make the cut to go to full release. Some of those songs could often be sold to other artists, used on live performances or simply never make it to the public ears. In general, an average K-pop company chooses songs from a large pool of demo songs written by various creators around the world. Out of those demos, 3-4 out of 100 might be put on production (write Korean lyrics, make tweaks in the instrumental and vocal melody, record the song with the artists) and only one out of hundred will make it to commercial release.

Im pretty sure a lot of rappers from boy groups post solo rap songs on SoundCloud, like castle j from mcnd. Also skz have an absurd amount of unreleased music, mostly solo and subunit songs that they performed live or shared on lives. I have given up hope for some of them but i really hope that they release last year's solos and the unreleased skz-records, some of them are so good

Giuk, the rapper and bassist from Onewe, has a SoundCloud and there is one song in particular that he still hasn't released officially, and it's criminal. The name is "연금술" (Alchemy), it's more or less a fansong about Fullmetal Alchemist lol but it's SO GOOD. I believe someone on KZbin made a lyrics video for it so you can find it here. I heavily recommend checking it out (and the rest of his immaculate discography ofc)

There's still hope IRRIS (group with former RS. members) might release it. eite - Get Out eite performed their comeback song at their concert in Japan. However, the original lineup of the group was kicked out recently, and eite's comeback will feature all new members. Unknown if their comeback song will be Get Out or not.
