I was at a funeral a few weeks ago here in Ireland and as the people were going up for communion which was being distributed by Eucharist Ministers alongside the Priest, He said that anyone who did not want to receive communion could approach and have a blessing. The Eucharist Ministers (laypeople) were giving blessings to people. The Church is losing its Holiness in Christ.

I attended a funeral and the priest knowingly gave communion to an atheist Jew who never even presented himself for communion. The priest stepped off the altar to the man who was seated at the top of the Church. This was in Ireland. The clergy in Ireland are arguably the worst in the world. I have so many stories but we have enough scandal as it is.

Much prayer is needed… a synod of error and confusion…at the same time, Blessed Mother, in the month of the rosary, is exposing the darkness. New sins? My husband of 47 years is a “Baker Boy” adopted from Fr Bakers Home for Boys/Our Lady of Victory, Lackawanna, NY!! Duffy was three months old and his parents drove from Detroit MI to pick him up on All Saints Day. The OLV basillica is worth a trip to Niagara Falls and go see the beautiful Basillica !! We are thankful for Fr Baker and pray he becomes a Saint (officially) in our lifetime.

yeah, i think we have a twisted meaning of unity. Unity doesn't mean we abandoned hierarchy of position in the Church altogether. Our unity must be based on Christ and stay true to His teachings, that have been passed down through The Apostles.

At the Transfiguration, God spoke with concise directive: “this is My Beloved Son, LISTEN to Him”. The Synodal Church is listening to every dissenting popular emotion rather than listening to the Lord and celebrating rejecting Jesus’ teachings. And those who speak out to preserve His Church are silenced and exiled from this new cult. They seem to be advocating for silencing Our Lady by promoting the diminishing of her warnings (Fatima, La Salette, Akita, etc.) Their New Order is resembling the one world religion of man: self-idolatry.

@dennismahoney8934 - Vatican II is not to be blamed for what is happening today. It is the implementation of Vatican II that is the problem. When a few liberal Cardinals completely misinterpreted Vatican II , on purpose, as they knew better. That is what created all the problems. How do we resolve this: Follow St. Padre Pio's advise: 1. Pray 2. Hope 3. Don't worry. If all of us did that. All this non-sense will go away. But we are stubborn and keep blaming Vatican II, Our present Pope, etc. Please stop it and follow St. Padre Pio's advise. God bless all of you who read this.

The Church was at one of its peaks post-WWII, especially in America with the baby boom generation. Mass confusion followed, fuelled especially by the Freemasonic growth within the hierarchy. Therefore by design, not a misinterpretation. Vocations shrunk precipitously. Covents closed, as did scores of Catholic schools. Pope John XXIII on his deathbed regretted the opening. Anyone denying that the council was one of the major causes contributing to the present chaos in the Church must have his or her head in the clouds.

The first issue brought by Raymond (i respect the person) in the first 6 mins: sin against synodality vs the video clip prayer are not necessarily the same making that prayer act bad. The synod is gathering of ideas (yes different opinions) but the act which the prayer is asking forgiveness for is "not listening to the Holy Spirit", which to me is not wrong. What is the use of any church meeting if at all it is just hearing human opinions and not guided by the Holy Spirit. What is wrong with the prayer? It was a general prayer for everyone including the Pope (if indeed he wrote it) . If taken well, it meant to encourage EVERY one (carrying different opinions) to sharetheir own ideas BUT me aware of the promptings of the Holy Spirit as the meeting transpires.

Sorry, but we must bow to the fact that Satan has enough of a hold on the cardinals that they will do what they will. The godly clerics will hold to the tenets of His church and tradition and work to keep us faithful together and on the right path! Many can no longer pray at Mass for the Pope’s intention, because it has become very questionable. We pray that the we have one, catholic & apostolic church. It is suppose to be universal, stable in its beliefs vs. every year looking to change things making its beliefs unstable. Very sad. If “you know them by their fruits”, Vatican II was not of God.

There were deaconesses in the early church, who baptised women, and worked in what today is called social work. Romans 16:1 refers to Phoebe as a "deacon". 1 Timothy 3:11 outlines their qualifications. Why cant this be revived? What's the big problem here??

I become rather worried when people always promote “faithful priests who enjoy traditions”. Knowing many “faithful priests who wear their cassocks and say their prayers in Latin during the day” but especially in USA and Europe you will find these young men in particular bars and clubs. I remember being at St JP2 canonization ask saw dozens of priests in cassock the entire week but I had friends who were in Rome on their own “vacation” and actually knew these same guys they met in those very clubs. As the Holy Father was in his visitation in a Belgium a 69 year old British priest who went to join the pilgrimage (all the photos of his parish group he was with a cassock and Saturno) died after meeting another priest and had a drug sex visit. Sad times we live in
