The world's best estate car: Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo Turbo S review

The Taycan Cross Turismo is a jacked-up estate (or wagon) version of the outstanding Taycan. I grab the keys to a £140,000 Turbo S version (with 750hp…) and take it for a drive. Join me as I swear a bit at the speed before realising this car is just so much more than a straight-line hero.

I drove the 4S version. Lots of niggles but overall, I came back from the test drive in love. Truly wonderful car - and the CT was so good on Norfolk's rough back roads. The 4S was seriously fast, the Turbo S must be bonkers.

@@Grahamponting wish you all the best! The heating problem should be solved and every Taycan gets new heaters within one week if necessary. I've ordered the Taycan Cross Turismo 4S in December and have a delivery slot for September, so until then we already get the new heaters. The old one came from #Webasto, but I don't know the new manufacturer.... Hope all is enjoying us positively! 😉👍🙋🏼‍♂️ Have nice rides! 🚘

@@joevandura9625 Cheers Joe! The only mistake I made is I ordered the Turbo S and you seriously don't need it. I only realised when Porsche invited me to a track day at Silverstone and a Turbo S wasn't available, they only had a Turbo - it's more than quick enough. I absolutely love mine though, I've just come out of a McLaren 720s Spider and I much prefer this, a totally different car of course but I can genuinely drive this everyday. The 4S is a fabulous car, and I think the pick of the range in terms of value. I hope you enjoy it..

@@Grahamponting Of course, the McLaren is really great! 👍 I'm now coming from the Tesla Model S 100D and before from American Muscle Cars like Dodge Challenger SS with Big Block 7.6 Liters etc pp. The first ride in the Taycan CT 4 was so fascinating and really straight with best road performance you can get! The 4S has the bit more punch you need at overtaking cars. 😜😉 The Turbo S has its best use case on German Autobahn or race tracks... But really it's a Biest! Teslas Plaid maybe more faster of course, but it can only beat the Taycan on the ¼ Mile.... 🙋🏼‍♂️

On other than that Turbo S trim the manual charging flap is standard and it’s an option to get the power one. Also the Carbon Ceramic brakes are standard on the Turbo S, and an option on lower modes. Video stated it was an option FYI.
