I had such a great experience 2 years back in a flatbed ICN-DMK overnight when I got the last seat in the forward section for a bargain price (under 300USD/1 way). It was really worth it. The crew member responsible up front was superb and I had such a good rest. In all honesty I don't find the economy 3-3-3 all that bad on their A330s either (flown that more than 6x).

Actually, despite the 3-3-3 configuration....its actually pretty comfortable....and even the regular seats have ample legs room....and the food is actually pretty good....not just for a low cost....but like a regular airline!
@Ashertheawesome6 жыл бұрын
It's a low cost LMAO
@alfchuah6 жыл бұрын
Were you high when you were flying?
@aqimjulayhi87986 жыл бұрын
I can't really agree with the leg room. It only makes sense if you're 5 feet tall.
@stevenwb6 жыл бұрын
I flew 2-4-2 on A330 and it was quite narrow and uncomfortable. Can't imagine 3-3-3. What the fuck that's not normal airline food. Regular premium airlines in economy gives you the main course such as rice or noodles in a foil container usually, water or carbonated drink, salads and dressings, fruits, sometimes bread and butter and a couple other such as ice cream.
@rafehsalman94236 жыл бұрын
@@aqimjulayhi8798 i'd agree if you had an issue with the width....that is definitely quite narrow....but like the leg space is ample on the A330...not talking about the a320's...and 6 feet!!! and again...its a low cost airline...its half the price of a full carrier....so if you go in expecting business class.... now if you compare it with other low cost carriers....its significantly better than most....

Fair and reflective review of AirAsiaX Flatbed seat. I flew with them on the same route in 2014, almost in the same seat and found them really good. Only issue was keeping that cabin at 25 degrees with no individual air vents on the A330, but its excellent vale for money for an almost lay flat bed. As for the music, its turned off for departure and the cabin lights are dimmed about 1 hour into the flight as its an over night hop up to Incheon.

Great video - as always 💚 I have tried to look up flights on AirAsia from Auckland to Tokyo or Auckland to Bali and I’m not sure if it’s because I am using my phone instead of a computer but their website is extremely buggy and won’t allow me to get past the search screens. Perhaps another way they cut corners..? I will try again from my computer.

I am middle-aged and I am, frankly, stunned to wonder where on earth the last nineteen years have gone, quite apart from the last one hundred days! LOL! Honestly, it feels like the year 2000 happened five minutes ago and it is now only days until we reach 2019! I worry about really cheap airlines. If they are only cutting back on frills to get the costs down, that is fine, but I want to know that they are paying their flight attendants, their pilots and their engineers properly. Quite apart from the ethics, self interest, encourages me to think this way. I should add that I cast zero aspersions on Air Asia. I know nothing of them and so I certainly don't imply that they are in any way anything other than exemplary, but in general, when the prices are low, I worry! Thank you for the video!

Have you ever heard about 'anciliary income' ? Airasia paid everyone even ground staff higher than other Airlines esp in Malaysia. They focused not on the fare price but ..... so, try do some research.

Hi Dan, love the videos. Not sure if its cheaper but certainly comparable is Aer Lingus. During the busy summer months they fly their A330s (usually transatlantic) from Dublin to Malaga and sometimes Faro. When booking online just choose 'premium' and I think its only about 60 or 70 euro more expensive. You get the full lie flat bed but unfortunately none of the business class perks. It's a short flight but a nice experience for a very small price :)

I flew last Sunday a 5-6 hour overnight KIX-DMK flight on an AirAsia X Airbus 330 using the hot seat (row 1) economy class. Worst experience ever. It is insane they fit 9 seat abreast (3-3-3), when the industry standard is 8 seat abreast (2-4-2). I didn't even fit my hips on the seat (

this looks amazing! I get really trvel sick and just want to sleep and feel sorry for myself on a flight so not paying premium for things I don't need (food, non-water drinks etc.) is something I've been looking for ages. thanks for sharing this- I live in australia so totally accessible and opens up so many travel options for me. I literally feel like this will change my life, I normally need to do 3 month long trips to mentally recover for the return flight but obviously that isn't practical around work. Been trying to get bonus miles but Australia doesn't have many good deals. Honestly, thanks so much for sharing, I never would've known otherwise

Is it true that airasia's premium flex have an Xpress track counter at immigration? I read on their site that one of the perks of getting premium flex is there is an Xpress Track dedicated to flatbed and premium flex passengers. But when I was at klia2 airport it seemed like the security at the immigration counter never heard of it. He didn't look at my documents either and just completely ignored what I had to say, or is it me that made a mistake? I felt upset as they didn't seem to help or answer my questions and I would've missed my flight. He replied in a very sarcastic tone but all I needed was their help. I wish they could've properly looked at my documents first and showed me proof or somewhat instead of just cutting me off all the time
