Watching this beast going 8.3 without lifting the front tires excessively shows how much Kyle's MR2 needs to be dialed in. He has the power to go mid 8's all day but he needs to dial in lots of things first. Congrats on setting the bar high and with a 3S-GTE! Impressive

It's not the K-swap, it's the build and tune quality, that kills Kyle's engines. Just a reminder that even the most expensive parts brings you only half way.

@@oikkuoek What the fuck has the tune got to do with valve float 🤣🤣 Thats an inadequate part, nothing to do with the tune. If it was the tune, he qould be melting pistons or throwing rods....

@KC JONES sure a bad tune could throw rods, if your not tuning individual cylinders at high HP levels theres a chance you can get uneven cylinder pressure between the cylinders surpassing operating ranges, multiple egt, O2, and back pressure sensors go a long way in tuning a High HP motor for longevity, that being said I have no idea what this "Kyle" guys engine management setup is so it can very well be or not be tuning dependent. Like Jay from Real Street performance says. Its up to the Tuner to know certain limitations regardless of what the customer wants.

The 3S-GTE in my 1990 SW20 is still an unopened long block. She may only be at the 300WHP mark but she gets beat up every single day and doesn’t give a shit. I love the BoostedBois content, but nothing beats a 3S-GTE in my mind.

First off this isn't a pissing contest between Nathan & Kyle and I think both have respect for what they each have managed to do so far.
