Actually if ya wanna get technical Avon made a liquid mirror chrome collection back in the early 2000s probably between 2000-2003 they had several other colors but the main one was the regular chrome silver one.

none of those polishes were the first mirror chrome polish. avon released a polish called "mirror shine" back in 2011. i remember having it and 8 year old me was obsessed with it. the earliest review i could find was on august 6th, 2011, but that means it was released earlier than that. it is still available, albeit in different packaging. you should do a follow up to this video!

Your observation hit the nail on the head! There's no difference between car paint and nail polish. Their formulas are 99.99% identical. They can actually be used interchangeably, which makes me a very lucky girl, considering my husband owns his own auto body, paint, and custom fabrication business! My mom owns a salon and one of the things we recommend to customers doing their nails is not to go to the beach on the same day as getting your nails done as the sand will stick. Regular nail polish with a non-quick dry topcoat dries to the touch in about 45 minutes to an hour. To get all the layers fully dry it takes about 8 hours so no, its not just your body chemistry and it isn't a weird occurrence.
