In this video, we will be taking a deep dive into the history and culture of Armenia to understand how Armenia might be the world's most bullied country. I talk about history, wars, governments, and celebrities

"Armenia is orthodox Christian country" Aaaaa, my poor armenian heart! You hurt me deep! Well, it is small mistake, but we are not orthodox nor we are monophysits. Our church is separated and is branch of east Christianity and is known as "armenian apostal church"(I definitely wrote it wrong, I don’t know how it would be called in english)

@@davidshatyan5927 nope. If very short our church was created much earlier that Latin(catholic) or Greak(orthodox) and in many aspects we are more common with Latin rather than Greek church. @@LanguageConnection Armenia has indeed been conquered a lot throughout its history, but its current neighbors to the east and to the west don't play a significant role in the historical enmities as a whole because they're relatively recent in the region. Georgia, Russia (which Armenia does not border) and Iran can barely be considered allies. They're just not enemies. • Georgia isn't very close to Armenia because that would deteriorate the relations with Turkey. • Iran is close with both Armenia and Azerbaijan, although Iran has also warned Azerbaijan that they would resort to actions in case they'd impose a threat to the border with Armenia. • Russia is supposedly an ally but that's only on paper. Armenia is a member of CSTO, for example, but it's slowly withdrawing its membership from the "alliance" due to its unreliability. It's also inaccurate to say that Armenia is "Orthodox Christian". Although the church is part of Oriental Orthodoxy, the term "Orthodox Christian" usually denotes Eastern Orthodoxy. Armenia also adopted Christianity in the year 301, not 400. The sultan didn't just order the Armenians to be expelled out of fear of a potential rebellion, the issue is much more complex. (I have avoided using a certain word to not have my comment filtered by KZbin, the event still *is* that word, though, just to clarify) The war over Nagorno-Karabakh is no longer ongoing. The Armenian population has fled after an almost-one-year-long blockade which caused a humanitarian crisis followed by an attack from Azerbaijan. Nonetheless, Azerbaijan still holds prisoners of war which it must return. The Republic of Armenia has no official land claims on mount Ararat, because it recognizes the treaty of Kars which was signed between the Soviets and Turkey in 1921. However, the mountain is still an Armenian symbol.

Fun fact: Georgia is the second country who adopted Christianity, after Armenia adopted it too. Fun fact 2: A lot of people think that Georgians stole Armenian alphabet (which is not true, I can confirm that as a Georgian)

If I were Armenia, I would deny the Kardashians. Just saying. I had a friend in the Air Force in the 1980s. He was Armenian heritage. His family had to flee Turkey in WW1 due to persecution and seeing many executed. He detested the Turks. He would fly into a rage at the mere mention of Turkey.
