I went to the zoo a few days ago. Mrs Wolowitz was killed by a fox several weeks ago. Sir Nils was stood in the place where he would hang out with her. He was having a doze. I think he misses her 😕 the great penguin that he is. 🐧🐧🐧

I remember the story my father told me about how Nils Olav heroically saved him and his platoon. How the penguin slid into battle on his belly, leading his troops in the charge. How he saved Dad's life by pecking the face of the enemy. That penguin is truly a hero

Brigadier Nils Olav III is from Antarctica and then bought to Edinburgh zoo and then became Mascot and Colonel-in-Chief of the Norwegian King's Guard in 1972 and currently is his 3rd reign. And that is a king penguin, and a penguin from Madagascar is a Southern Rockhopper Penguin.
