id agree and go on to say that classified was pretty good too. a lot of the BO4 maps are really good and innovative, it’s just the mechanics of the game I personally dont like. if those maps were on bo3 or even cold war id love em because i enjoy those games mechanics more than i enjoy bo4

@@gingerking7771 while not bad, I wouldn’t say that BO4 had the best perk system. While you get to choose which perks you want to take in with you, you are stuck with those perks in that match, as a result, you have to plan ahead for what kind of strategy/kind of game you want to play before entering the map, while with the other systems, you can change and come up with your play style on the fly. I will say that my favourite addition to the perk system from BO4 is Perk Degradation, where rather than losing all your perks immediately, you instead lose one upon down, then lose the others over the course of you bleeding out, leaving you with 2 perks on solo, and potentially 3 on co-op if your team revives you in time. I’d say, to me, the best perk system is the current one in BOCW, it’s a mix between BO4’s system and WaW-BO3’s system, it keeps the choosing variety from WaW-BO3 while also adding BO4’s Perk degradation as well as an evolution of the modifier system in Perk Upgrades.

@@bilalozakar100 the variety comes from early to mid rounds, thanks to how the point system works, as well as the existence of CW’s pap and Ammo mods, you’re unlikely to get all the perks before the mid 20’s. The way I see it, variety becomes less and less important the further you play into a match, as players usually fall into their own set rhythm of play style by the mid rounds. By that point, variety becomes less necessary and consistency becomes the more important factor.

Put any Bo4 map into Bo3 or Cold War and it’s a classic, IX was arguably the best maps for beginners while also being fun for veterans. The maps were not the issue in Bo4, it was more so the changing of core gameplay we’ve come to know and love. Things that didn’t really need to be fixed were changed for no good reason. Which might’ve worked if they stuck to the Chaos storyline due to it being a different universe from Aether and so it would make sense to have said differences. Unfortunately they tried to bring Aether back and that was ultimately the downfall of Bo4 imo. Especially with the fact that Revelations was just starting to settle into peoples head as a satisfying ending to Aether. If the game was centered and made an honest commitment to Chaos I would not mind the changes to the core features nearly as much as I did.

@@enlightenedblade171 bo3 is amazing. Bo4 is different but similar. Idk it definitely gets tedious and annoying but I'd take that over crayons and popsicle sticks like cold war any day. I really wish they continued with the chaos storyline I was pretty invested.
