@@WagnersTechTalk Great video, I have 2 of these it plays great for being so small...it seems like pac man is 50hz pal not 60hz...I play tempest and pong the most, I never even knew 21 score wins at pong 😆 they should have replaced Millipede with like yars revenge 😤

@@WagnersTechTalk it utilized every knob and switch on the 2600! Each switch functions a part of the shuttle. You start at launch and finish by successfully opening the wheel wells and landing, and deploying the parachute.

That sounds like a very impressive game! I saw a brief video on it and it looked interesting, but there was no commentary in the video I watched so missed that it used any switches.

Oh I remember how much of a disappointment the Atari version of pac-man was. It was funny to hear my daughter ask “is that really TVs really looked like when you were a kid? Gross”

Pac-Man 2600 is really bad. That's why I love it so much. It's just so charmingly and comically pathetic, like when my cat tries to fight her own reflection. Dumb but cute.

The little joystick does work surprisingly well for it's size! All the games are re-creations of the originals. For example, in Pac-Man if you count the dots across the top middle between the original and the version on this device, they don't match. Not a big deal at all, just that they are re-creations of the Arcade or A2600 versions.

Definitely agree that Space Invaders was a missed opportunity! It would have been a perfect fit for this machine.

@@WagnersTechTalk exactly could have had Holy trinity pong, space invaders and pacman...if they ran at 60hz this would be a 5 out of 5 purchase as of now because of that Millipede aka centipede clone and no way to hack system yet, its a 4.8 out of 5.

Millipede should have been replaced by another game (maybe by space invaders) but its still a great device...the 2 of 2600 or 2600 clone games here sadly play at 50hz not 60 hz, and so does pong - but the 7 arcade clones play at 60hz like tempest, a very odd and unique device...wish it could be hacked to add more games ;)

Quite a few of the games are not the actual Atari version at all, and if they are then they are as laggy and useless as VCS Pac-man on this thing. It's a dumb idea done in the least interesting way. I'd rather put 20 bucks towards gear for a REAL VCS.
