Haven't seen a proper LEGO shredder in years. Also, props to you for saying "wiener" and not "hot dog". Two different things. At least somebody else gets it right.

I haven’t seen a LEGO shredder that can tear up paper this well. I guess that’s what 1200W of pure rotational power gets you. And yes, a ‘hot dog’ is the wiener in a bun. I had to look that up just in case I made anyone mad. However I kinda messed up with the thumbnail.

It was gross. Hot dogs have a lot of fat and oil in them and it genuinely made a mess. However, the whole thing was taken apart and all the pieces were soaked in a dish soap solution, which dissolves fats. After about 30 minutes of soaking, they were washed and set out to dry. They were just like new. I was actually more worried about the 28 tooth bevel gears I used to drive the blades. Can be seen at 1:33. They are the new gears that Lego released recently and with the blades under immense stress from the shredder, I was worried they would be missing some teeth after this whole ordeal.

Though I won't be using a motor, is there a way I could still make it have a bit higher tourque?
@LegoTechnicsRule2 жыл бұрын
@@HayFatYT I don’t quite understand what you’re asking when referring to “it” but if it is the saw blade, notice it has a round hole, not an axle hole. I needed to sacrifice the blade and an axle by supergluing them together. Yes, I know it’s a sin in the LEGO community, but those parts are easy to replace.

@@LegoTechnicsRule by it I meant a shredder, a lego one and the whole axle thing I can figure out I hope
