Will never forget her variety comic show and her singing at the end. Her I'll be seeing you again song always t gets me a bit teary. Then her pull on her ear. Then her and Julie Andrews in a show together.. Of course when she played Scarlett in a spoof of GWTW it's one of the most iconic comedy scenes ever. I also remember her dressing up as Cher, and not doing a bad impression of her.. One of the best in the business of showbiz. She is so talented and unique. Great singer and some great acting in movies.

I adore Carol Burnett and wish we had TV half as good as her show and others. But please, don't let your memory rewrite history. She and esp the boys went off color a fair amount. I found it interesting when rewatching some episodes, as clearly a lot of it went over my youthful, innocent head. It was pure talent, and hysterical, and brilliant, but wholesome is more your memory of the times vs the show. Actually a lot of TV back then was stuff that couldn't be aired today. It was more adult, and open. And if you think I'm wrong, go rewatch some of the hit shows. They openly addressed adult issues, show lessons via humor that would be deemed "prejudiced" today (ignoring the lesson part), and tons of double entendres. But all fantastic!

As a kid, Carol Burnett was my very favorite. I always looked forward to Saturday evenings watching her show with my family and my mother cooked fried hamburgers, french fries and english peas (that I, absolutely DESPISED and was MADE to eat them, so I'd get a spoonful onto my spoon, shovel them in my mouth, drink a BIG OL' GULP of sweet tea behind them and swallow them like pills without chewing them). 😂 I STILL hate those suckers! And I STILL LOVE Carol Burnett. Her show comes on 24 hours a day on Live TV through Roku. My bedroom tv is NEVER changed from "her" channel. I watch even reruns that I've just seen recently over and over. ❤❤❤
